How to go from $0 to $2000+/month flipping

/thread
People message me all the time asking how they can start flipping with $0 cash.

It's easier than you think.

This is how.
Find free stuff.

People give away free stuff ALL. THE. TIME.

They don't feel like donating it or selling it, they would rather you come and pick it up.

-Go get it
-Clean it up
-Sell it on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace
Craigslist has an actual FREE section
Pick this up and go get $$ for the scrap
Clean this up and/or paint it and sell it on FBM
Look, free paint
I know of a guy making $12k profit / month flipping couches

Get off yours and go get some free stuff
Now you have some capital from flipping free stuff.

Try and save up $300-500.

First thing you should do? Join a premium Discord lead group.
Here is why a leads group should be your first investment:

-Lots and lots of leads
-Ask other resellers questions
-Get spoon fed what to buy and where to sell
-Learn how to use tools and become self sufficient
$100 or less will get you a month in most leads groups.

That gives you $200-400 left over to buy product and some shipping supplies.

Don't even worry about equipment, boxes, bubble wrap, etc - just find products to sell at a profit and you can take care of materials later
My favorite lead groups in alphabetical order (these may contain affiliate links:

@OneStopFlips

@WestCoast_Goodz
@West_Coast_Gemz
@WestCoastFlipz

Check out their groups and (just as important) follow them all.

They drop gems on the regular.

Motivated sellers make just as much flipping inside of a leads group as they do at their 9-5.

Get free from your desk and go full time reselling - or enjoy your 9-5 and use the extra money for vacation, toys, early retirement, or debt payoff.

Do you want to go further?
Learn how to become an expert at these tools:

Brickseek

Use Brickseek Premium or Extreme to find local deals, use the data to manage risk, and sell deeply discounted product on eBay, Amazon, or even local.
Keepa

Keepa tracks price history for products listed on Amazon.

Use Keepa to:

-Know when to buy and sell
-Find flash deals and discounts
-Source Amazon to Amazon flips
-Track product prices, # of sellers, and more
Tactical Arbitrage

TA is the Ferrari of sourcing.

Scan 100s of website for profitable items, reverse search on Amazon, and search wholesale product lists with ease.
Tactical Bucket

If TA is the Ferrari, Tactical Bucket is the bolt-on supercharger.

Expand your sourcing capabilities while narrowing the competition.

Scrape massive amounts of ASINs or create custom xpaths and "fish from your own stocked pond."
Once you master arbitrage, put your big money to work.

Start a private label brand with the help of @BL_Advisor or @andyisom100K, both of whom are doing massive numbers and/or made massive exits by creating their own brand.
You can find warehouse space and go deep into wholesale, scaling to multi-million dollar businesses like @watchmeamazon or @amazon_lit

This gives you the opportunity to act as a prep center as well, leveraging your in-house labor for even more profit.
Love retail reselling too much?

You can hire shoppers, virtual assistants, and scale by
automating your arbitrage.

Can you do all of this just from flipping free stuff from Craiglist?

The choice is yours.

Stewardship

Never complain, never explain.

Your friends don’t care and your enemies won’t believe you.

If you complain (about anything), you are asserting that you know better than God, and that whatever He has given to you is not right for you.
Finances

You can’t take it with you.

Live on little, save some, give most.

A question I am asked often: how do you find collectibles and limited items?

There are lots of different ways - this is my favorite.
I get a little distracted, and if you do too, that is great news!

Getting distracted and following your curiosity is one of the best ways to find profitable items.

Amazon is getting stricter with sellers.

Lose a shipment?

They won't take a receipt, they need an invoice.

Retail / Online Arbitrage is a great way to start and to make a good living

BUT

You should hedge your business with multiple sources of business income.
Wholesale is a great option - here's why:

-Lower prices
-Higher barrier of entry
-Larger product selection
-Get ungated in anything they carry
-Lower margins but higher volume/ availability

When I first started on Amazon, I bought a course by @MediaBoca that taught me how to sell used media on Amazon.

Most interesting to me was the books.

But I did not like going into most thriftstores / Goodwills because it was either junk or over priced.

First things first:

You have a unique way of looking at things.

You can find things few others can.

This is your advantage.

Exploit it!
Attitude is important.

You need to be humble.

You don't know 1% of anything. If you think you know it all, you will never find profitable items.

Your biggest enemy is yourself.

Come to terms with this.
