Not only is that more than twice the no of those who died within 28 days of a + PCR test, we knw that 9/10 of the latter have at least 1 serious pre-existing condition - so many if not most quite probably did not die from Covid.
So an unusually large no of non-C deaths in summer.
And I think we can agree that this was not caused by a heat wave.
So what investigation is @CMO_England doing about this unusual and unexpected increase of summer mortality?
Are we beginning to see the long-term effects of the closure of much of the NHS for which he was responsible?
And of the policy of terrifying ppl into staying at home, causing a catastrophic decline in the number of initial consultations for suspected cancer, heart disease or more?
Does he care?

This is hardly a surprise. Cambridge has allowed itself to become a fiscal supplicant of the PRC as have so many institutions - including particularly universities & private schools. And don’t believe that this is a 2 way process by which our ideas travel to and influence China.
The critical mass of students from mainland China are not absorbing what used to be our values - not least because we have abandoned so many of them in our educational institutions. And even if they did, they’d have barely a hope of making an impact on the values of the CCP.
As for Huawei, that the British government was willing even to contemplate working with a front for the Chinese state shows an astonishing disregard for our national security and the motives of our No. 1 strategic rival.

Western ‘democratic’ and ‘free’ states being shown up by Vladimir Putin. That really is quite something.
Obviously not. For the avoidance of doubt - that I didn’t think would be necessary - my entire point rests on the embarrassment he causes to supposedly free states by saying this when he quite clearly isn’t the leader of a liberal democratic state.
I really must cater for the mindless stupidity - or more likely fake credulity to make their obtuse points - of large numbers of Twitter users next time I tweet.

Of those under 50s infected with Delta in the first two weeks of August, 53% were vaccinated (one or more dose) out of a population 47% of which have been vaccinated.
And the PHE found no difference in viral transmission between vaccinated and unvaccinated infected with Delta.
By 15 August 2021 the number of under 50s that have had at least one dose of the vaccine was 47% (18.785 out of a total population of 39.632 million) (PHE report: 19 August 2021 (week 33), table 62 (cumulative total of men and women under 50): assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/upl…
The total number of under 50s in England infected with the Delta variant between 1 February and 2 August 2021 was 237,419, of whom 147,612 had not been vaccinated.

Australia has become a police state.
In any other context we would impose economic sanctions on them. We should. And a trade embargo.
They and New Zealand have fallen well outside the free, common law world.

The only reason for a child to fear a disease milder (for children) than flu,that poses a risk for healthy children (1 in 2 million) less than lightning & for all children (1 in 0.5 m) less than drowning is fear-mongers like Ind. SAGE.

What a disgracefully exploitative video.
(And that’s the ‘risk’ of drowning including children who never go near a swimming pool or the sea. For context, a child has a 1/10,000 risk of mortality each year.)
Oh dear, looks like that didn’t go down so well…

This Report makes six proposals:
(1) The word ‘abusive’ should be removed from section 5 and the words ‘insulting’ and ‘abusive’ should be removed from section 4A of the Public Order Act 1986:
...offences which criminalise speech or behaviour that is likely to or intended to cause harassment, alarm or distress. ‘Insulting’ was removed from section 5 but criminalises speech or behaviour that, while it might be unpleasant, should not be the concern of the state.
