India Ratings cuts the gross domestic product (GDP) estimate for India to 9.4% from 9.6%.
India Ratings, a Fitch Group company, is of the opinion that the aim of vaccinating the entire adult population by the end of 2021 may not be met.
Hence, the cut.
The company suggests that to vaccinate more than 88% of the adult population, 5.2 million daily doses would have to be administered from August 18 onwards.
