Medina: "As a community we have to draw a line in the sand. We can't think we can assist every individual. There are some people who should stay in jail, and we can't be afraid to say that."
Medina: 1 officer in critical condition; 1 officer just went through surgery; 2 other officers sustained injuries but no idea of what long term consequences they could be dealing with
1 in custody - all indications only shooter - other individuals being detained
Medina: 1 suspect in custody, believes he is the only shooter involved. They have other people detained and are investigating their involvement.
.@MayorKeller: we know 3 officers are stable but one is in critical condition and he is top of mind, receiving top care from officials at @UNMHSC. Says he knows our community is going through a tragedy.

Keller asking for support for the families of the officers involved. Working on providing counseling for officers, particularly those in the Foothills Area Command. Thankful for outside agencies stepping in to help with unrelated calls in metro.
Keller: "we will be relentless in our pursuit of justice and we want to put together the strongest possible case. We are prepared to take this to the state or federal level."

4th officer had shrapnel to his eye, stable as well
1 suspect involved is in stable condition at hospital
