#SeditionHunters - a quick note to head off damage from a shoddy piece of reporting by Reuters this morning, an "exclusive" that quotes a single anonymous non-FBI source to assert the Capitol attack was not organized. No research, no names, no evidence. 1/

#SeditionHunters know that the attack is organized. We have known since Feb. when we published a timeline (and provided it to Congressmen) showing that the mob hit three key entrance points within minutes: Senate 2:44 PM, House 2:44 PM, "tunnel" entrance about 2:35 PM. 2/

We have documented the series of smoke and flag signals that mark every major advance. We see the radios, and communication. We watch perps standing still for minutes, then suddenly unfurling a flag or lighting a smoke flare timed to an event. 3/

We have inventoried the organized extremist groups who pad out the mob and provide mid-level management - over 5% of the total mob is working under orders. Current estimate ca. 250 Proud Boys, 200 America First, 100 3Pers, 50 or so each Oath Keepers and Rod of Iron Ministries. 4/

An entire section of our database is devoted to the elite #SeditionVIP's, public figures, who arrive on Capitol grounds wearing lanyards & passes, many with bodyguards, often coming straight from Trump's speech at the Ellipse. You can filter on them on jan6attack.com 5/

The pipeline from the Ellipse to the Capitol is so strong that there is a current project to document every single person sitting in the VIP section on Jan 6 morning and track where they go. We can do this because we have archived over 20,000 videos from Jan 5-6 alone. 6/

We have documented the alarming presence of ex-military, veterans' organizations, including many who have been noted as the target of organized disinformation campaigns. The Vietnam Veterans of America investigated for 2 years, testified before Congress Dec. 2020... 7/

VVA documented "persistent, pervasive, and coordinated online targeting of American servicemembers, veterans, and their families by foreign entities who seek to disrupt American democracy". Leaders of organizations mentioned were at the Capitol Jan 6. vva.org/trollreport/ 8/

Any responsible journalists covering Jan 6 and providing theories about it should have read these reports, read reporting from the online community, reached out to us. We are happy to provide information, data, videos, sightings, analysis to all who ask. Reuters did not ask. 10/

News media must realize: the organization of Jan 6 WILL be reported on. First, it will be part of the standard curriculum in military academies around the world, in classes on domestic terrorism, disinformation, hybrid warfare, "complex coordinated terrorist attacks". 11/

The U.S. will be a case study. Go talk to someone knowledgeable from abroad - they are watching us, watching how we respond. Part of what they watch is American media, because influencing the press, corrupting its ability to find truth, is an important part of hybrid warfare. 12/

Second, the media response will be covered by members of the #SeditionHunters community, who include ex-journalists, military analysts, data scientists, disinfo experts. Right now the Capitol investigation is key, but our goal is revealing the truth, asking hard questions. 13/

Third, the media response will be compared to the findings of the Congressional January 6 commission, who will investigate throughout 2021 - only 4 months, but with the power of subpoena, and with our 7 months of prior work available to them. 14/

Fourth, the media analysis will be tested by actual outcomes. Campaigns to overturn election results are ongoing in multiple states. January 6 figures are running for state and national office in 2022. Was January 6 an unorganized one-off? We hope so, but wait and we'll see. 15/

Other writers are clearer than Mastriano. Mason Cark of ISW argues in his 2020 report "Russian Hybrid Warfare" that the U.S. must urgently prepare for new threats: "information operations ...[are] the ongoing foundational change in the nature of war." 20/

Bad actors around the world know these strategies now. Anyone following social media in the U.S. can see them in action leading up to Jan 6, and continuing after. We know there's an org chart. Our job is to help FBI work their way up it, to learn who is pulling the strings. 22/

So counterintuitively, the Reuters puff piece may be a terrific sign - suggests the vise is tightening, leaders are nervous. FBI notoriously works methodically from the bottom up, perp by perp, flipping each on his boss. First InfoWars' Sam Montoya, now Shroyer... who's next? 25/
