1. Lockdown extended for Greater Sydney until September, gotta wear masks outdoors in all of NSW, curfews and exercise limits for hotspot LGAs, and a permit system

🕵️‍♀️506 cases still being investigated
2️⃣ cases infected in the ACT and are isolating in NSW
⚰️Sadly, 4 deaths - 3 in their 80s, 1 in their 70s.

3. Greater Sydney lockdown extended until the end of September
This will NOT extend to Central Coast and ShellHarbour, which will be defined as regional (at this stage).
Outdoor Masks Mandate: From Monday masks should be worn outdoors everywhere across NSW unless when exercising
4. Curfews and exercise time limits in the 12 Sydney hotspot LGAs.

Curfew 9pm - 5am - unless for authorised work or emergencies.

Exercise limit of 1hr/day 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♂️
5. Permit system being introduced next week for people leaving or entering hotspot LGAs.
If police find someone has entered or left a hotspot LGA of concern without a reasonable excuse then they will be able to issue a fine AND order that person to self-isolate for 14 days.
6. The 12 LGAs of concern are: Bayside, Blacktown, Burwood, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Georges River, Liverpool, Parramatta and Strathfield LGAs and…
7. 12 suburbs in Penrith: Caddens, Claremont Meadows, Colyton, Erskine Park, Kemps Creek, Kingswood, Mount Vernon, North St Marys, Orchard Hills, Oxley Park, St Clair and St Mary's
8. Permit system to enter regional NSW commences tomorrow. Regardless of when the permit system starts up, it is still currently an offence to leave GS to go into regional NSW without a reasonable excuse.

COVID vaccination now mandatory for all NSW health workers must have at least first dose by Sept 30th.

As of 30/08/21 all 16-39yr olds are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine.

Childcare: Parents and guardians are being encouraged to not send their children to childcare or early childhood facilities, however facilities will remain open for families for whom this is not possible.

VIC: 55 new cases, 30 infectious while in the community

QLD: 1 new locally acquired case - a historical case detected in home quarantine. Restrictions to lift in south-east Queensland but indoor mask wearing remains

NZ: 11 new cases - 8 in Auckland and 3 in Wellington
15. SA: Restrictions easing in SA, and border restrictions with NT and QLD relaxing too.
16. Additional restrictions in LGAs of concern:

The following businesses are now click and collect ONLY:

garden centres, plant nurseries, office supplies, hardware and building supplies, landscaping supplies, rural supplies, pet supplies
17. Education: All exams, education and professional development must be online only - this does not include the HSC.
18. Childcare workers and disability support workers who live or work in LGAs of concern MUST have their first vaccination dose by 30 August
19. Authorised workers who work outside the LGAs of concern can ONLY work if

a) their workplace implements rapid antigen testing OR

b) they have had their first vaccination dose by 30 August
20. From Saturday 28 August, you must have a permit to enter or leave the LGAs of concern

From Monday, workers from Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland and Fairfield LGAs will no longer need routine surveillance swabs
