Here is the communication (condensed) I recently sent to the US Attorney, SDNY, Audrey Strauss, w/ a copy to her Chiefs, requesting that the Office prosecute Trump for the Stormy Daniels payoff scheme & related criminality. Trump is presumed innocent. 1/15
"I am a former Assistant U.S. Attorney w/ the Office & longtime member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel. Before the expiration of the statute of limitations (arguably as soon as this October though it could be later), I respectfully request that the Office prosecute 2/15
Donald Trump for the Stormy Daniels payoff scheme (and related criminality) that materially impacted the 2016 election, which also involved tax evasion and money laundering offenses, and for which Michael Cohen was convicted. 3/15
On an ongoing basis, [Trump] continues to damage our democracy. His behavior should not be normalized. He is a malignant narcissist (sociopath) and checks every box for this serious disorder that some of the most horrendous dictators and criminals in history have shared. 4/15
He is far from finished . . . and he could very well be Speaker of the House if the GOP takes control of the House in 2022 . . . especially with the extreme gerrymandering that the GOP is planning on doing, and then from there, run for President again in 2024. 5/15
He could "win" by committing additional acts of election fraud with the help of his accomplices in the GOP controlled state legislators and foreign actors. There is nothing that he will not do if he believes he can get away with it. This would be the end of our democracy. 6/15
This is not hyperbole. The more time that goes by without accountability, the more the public loses confidence in our criminal justice system. As an example, . . . I sent out the tweet below which to date has garnered 2.5M impressions, & more than 54K direct engagements. 7/15
from the public who are justifiably outraged with Trump literally getting away w/ a lifetime of criminality including the Daniels payoff scheme. Trump needs to be prosecuted separately in multiple federal/state jurisdictions because he has committed federal/state crimes 8/15
in multiple locations. . .

As I noted recently on the ReidOut show on MSNBC, thus far, the person who orchestrated, funded, and benefitted from this scheme, Donald Trump, has escaped justice even though the person he supervised, Michael Cohen, was convicted. msnbc.com/transcripts/tr… . . . 10/15
From an evidentiary standpoint, you have a strong and winnable case against Trump including multiple witnesses, an audio tape involving Trump discussing the scheme with Cohen, and a lengthy paper trail consisting of emails, texts, agreements, checks, and other documents. 11/15
You do not have to have Cohen signed up to a cooperation agreement to enlist his testimony. Subpoena him and others as fact witnesses, whether hostile or not, and possibly with limited grants of immunity, put them before the grand jury, and get an indictment returned . . . 12/15
At trial, let Cohen and the others be subject to cross examination. The testimony of each witness including Cohen would be 100% corroborated by other evidence including the audio tape, the paper trail, and the other witnesses. 13/15
Prosecutors can always find a reason to not pursue a case. Moreover, no criminal case is without its problems. Sometimes, a meritorious case should be brought even if there is a chance of not prevailing. 14/15
I respectfully request that you pursue this case against Trump in order to hold him accountable for this serious crime & I believe you will obtain a guilty verdict. Finally, I would greatly appreciate if you would share this email directly w/ Dep AG Lisa Monaco. Thank you." 15/15

I used to look forward to your show every day. It has become unwatchable & a horrible source of false information about what is actually a successful evacuation from Afghanistan. I will no longer tune in & will no longer follow you. cc @CNN
Unfortunately, my once all time favorite @brikeilarcnn has lost all objectivity about Afghanistan coverage perhaps in part due to her husband's military service and should be barred from reporting about the situation.

Joey's apartment was in a high rise coop apt high rise on 3rd Avenue, across fr The Continental, close to CBGBs. He combined 2 studio apartments together. He was surrounded by families, regular people. Heard he was a nice neighbor. I think his brother has the apartment now.
Even though The Ramones were one of the greatest bands of all time and were active for 22 years, they made a relatively modest living from touring, low record sales, & merch. They were well off but not multi-millionaires. I think Johnny was happy w/ his 1M retirement savings.
The real value of their music was with their amazing catalogue of music which benefits over time primarily the estates of Johnny (his wife) & Joey (his brother), & to a lesser extent DeeDee (his wife) bc he sold some of his rights before he passed. Also, Tommy's relatives. RIP.

The vast majority of charged defendants act rationally & consistent w/ their self-interest. Assuming Allen Weisselberg is rational & I believe he is, he will plead guilty & cooperate for the following ten reasons:
1. Serious charges that call for a lengthy incarceration in a state prison if AW does not cooperate.
2. Overwhelming evidence to support a conviction.
3. AW has competent/independent legal representation who will advise him to cooperate or commit malpractice if they don't.
4. Crippling legal fees if he contests the charges & it would be improper & a conflict if Trump pays for them.
5. AW must know that the best defense Trump has is to blame AW & Trump will do so.
6. Trump Org will soon to cease operating as a viable business entity.

So I recently bought a new turntable to play my old vinyl records including the first 2 that I ever bought with my allowance money as a kid: American Pie & Jesus Christ Superstar. They hold up to this day as the classics they are. Anyone remember the first records you purchased.
There's something to be said about being able to touch your favorite records that is lost with digital music
All of you made my day with your replies. Just wanted to let you know how important that was for me. I hope that someday we can tweet much more about music, sports, animals, etc. and much less about those who are trying to destroy us.

The downfall of @RudyGiuliani:
Search warrant issued upon probable cause for all of his electronic devices that will reveal an abundance of evidence.
Just suspended from the practice of law for propagating one lie after another about the election; will be disbarred eventually.
Will lose the billion dollar lawsuits filed against him by the voting machine companies; these are meritorious lawsuits & the monetary damages are significant. These lawsuits alone will bankrupt him & he will lose everything including his NYC residence.
I expect that he will be indicted, arrested, convicted, & sentenced for the crimes he has committed against our country.
He has disgraced himself & his family name in the eyes of history, all for a traitorous, career criminal.
