"Did you know you can buy a terabyte of RAM for around $10,000? Even if you had a billion users, this would give you 1kB of RAM per user to work with."
" Are you likely to accumulate data faster than the rate at which SSD prices will go down? How much would your business need to grow before all your data would no longer fit on one machine? As of 2016, Stack Exchange served 200 million requests per day, backed...

"Don’t even start considering solutions until you Understand the problem. Your goal should be to “solve” the problem mostly within the problem domain, not the solution domain"

This is how I am trying to free up my calendar these days.

I don't allow anybody to schedule calls on the same day unless they are critical. I ask them them set it up for next day.
Once a call is scheduled for the next day I create a thread in the relevant channel that contains most of the stakeholder in the calendar and post this message.

This is like a gamification tactic where I try to prove that most of the times we don't need to get on the calls.
Whenever we actually need to get on the call, everybody already has the context. All the right stake holder are identified so that we don't need to reschedule calls. For new people we can add them to channel tag them and we also add the link to thread in the calendar.

Walking provides the right amount of exercise to mind and body simultaneously.
It lets both your body and mind wander. In sync.
The speed of walking and the speed of thoughts seem to be inversely proportional.

You walk faster your thoughts slow down. Your thoughts run faster they seem to slow down your walking speed.

#selfintrospection
Couple of years ago I realised a few things. One of them was

I suffer from decision making fatigue.
This is true in both personal and professional life. But more so in personal life I guess.

In professional life there is a lot of alignment as there is a common goal and everybody is more or less equally involved.
In personal life it is not the same case because very few people will have the same perception that you have.

Also in family there are multiple people at different phases of their life and hence the expectations are also difficult.

@jack @Twitter search really sucks. I was not able to search for a particular tweet of mine.
When I tried "site:twitter[dot]com gokulnk" on @Google I could see only my replies to tweets by popular people like @naval @aantonop and @APompliano google.co.in/search?q=site%…
Welcome to new form of discrimination in digital era :P
It took me some time realise that google only indexes popular twitter handles and interactions on tweets by those accounts. I had to read stonetemple.com/twitter-indexi… to understand the extent of the problem.

Web replaced middlemen with centralised companies. Blockchains will replace these centralised companies with decentralised systems which will enable peer to peer transactions.
Transaction is "an exchange or interaction between people". In today's world we can extend "people" to say people/machines.
Computers enabled measuring THESE actions/transactions. Blockchains enabled storing THESE on ledgers public/private. Cryptocurrencies will enable to monetise each and every of THESE.
