"Did you know you can buy a terabyte of RAM for around $10,000? Even if you had a billion users, this would give you 1kB of RAM per user to work with."
" Are you likely to accumulate data faster than the rate at which SSD prices will go down? How much would your business need to grow before all your data would no longer fit on one machine? As of 2016, Stack Exchange served 200 million requests per day, backed...

"Don’t even start considering solutions until you Understand the problem. Your goal should be to “solve” the problem mostly within the problem domain, not the solution domain"
This is how I am trying to free up my calendar these days.
I don't allow anybody to schedule calls on the same day unless they are critical. I ask them them set it up for next day.
Once a call is scheduled for the next day I create a thread in the relevant channel that contains most of the stakeholder in the calendar and post this message.
This is like a gamification tactic where I try to prove that most of the times we don't need to get on the calls.
Whenever we actually need to get on the call, everybody already has the context. All the right stake holder are identified so that we don't need to reschedule calls. For new people we can add them to channel tag them and we also add the link to thread in the calendar.
It took me some time realise that google only indexes popular twitter handles and interactions on tweets by those accounts. I had to read stonetemple.com/twitter-indexi… to understand the extent of the problem.
Web replaced middlemen with centralised companies. Blockchains will replace these centralised companies with decentralised systems which will enable peer to peer transactions.
Transaction is "an exchange or interaction between people". In today's world we can extend "people" to say people/machines.
Computers enabled measuring THESE actions/transactions. Blockchains enabled storing THESE on ledgers public/private. Cryptocurrencies will enable to monetise each and every of THESE.
