Do you know why there is a bite in Apple's logo?

In a nutshell, it was added to solve a design problem.

The original logo of Apple was a complicated picture of Isaac Newton sitting under an apple tree.

Back In 1997, Steve Jobs reached out to an agency to design a simple logo that can be printed on their computer.
Although most of the other companies like HP and IBM at that time had text-based logos, Rob Janoff, the designer, decided to focus on the imaginary of the 🍎
He started with a simple silhouette of an apple with a leaf on top.
But it was pretty ambiguous since there are several fruits that have round shapes with leaves stemming off.
Janoff pointed out that several people mistook the apple logo for a cherry since there was no context or how large or how small the fruit might be. That’s a simple-looking yet complicated design problem.
So, to solve this problem, Janoff added a bite that allowed people to immediately identify the logo as an apple while still retaining the simplistic design.
Nevertheless, there are many myths floating around about this. Most notable are below
Myth #1 There is a myth that the bite on the apple logo is a play on words. Since the term byte spelled b-y-t-e is used in the technology industry as a unit of memory size.
Myth #2 Apple wanted to pay tribute to Alan Turing, who committed suicide by biting into an apple he had laced with cyanide.

🚨 How can any job seeker get referrals at top product companies like Swiggy, Microsoft, SAP if they don't know anyone in those companies?

P.S. Not a clickbait
🧵👇
But before that, some facts
1⃣ The job market is very hot these days.
2⃣ As always, there are a lot of job seekers. However, even with the right skills, people aren't getting jobs because they don't get the opportunity to interview at these companies.

⬇️
3⃣ Folks working at these companies want to give referrals (and also get a referral bonus). They share it openly on platforms like LinkedIn but because of the limited number of connected, get very few resumes.
