If only one surrenders totally with true devotion (parisuddha bhakti) at his lotus feet there is nothing that Sri Guru Raayaru cannot bestow on his devotees.

Lord Ganesha's worship/anugraha/blessings are very much required to mitigate Vipareeta JnyaAna and to know/learn yathaArtha jnyaAna ie., "Hari SArvottama-Vaayu Jeevottama"
To get rid of vaKra buddHi (purverted intelligence); to have discriminative intelligence one should worship, have वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय anugraha, it is very much required; Lord of Vignas (obstacles), Lord Ganesha is controller of obstacles & destroyer of miseries of his devotees.

Sravana star is considered as Sri Hari (Vishnu) Nakshathra.

While Moon is the star lord, Lord Vishnu is the star Deity of Sravana nakshathra.

Sri Vaamana avathara of Lord Vishnu took place in the constellation of Sravana.

Looking at his calibre in grammar and expert debating skills and profound knowledge, Sri Sudheendra Theertharu (Vidya Guru of Sri Raghavendra Swamy) called him as “Mahabhashya Venkatanathacharya”
Sri Guru Raayaru had blessings and grace of Goddess of Learning Goddess Saraswathi and in fact he received disha/nirdesha (direction) from the Goddess before getting initiated into Asceticism.
