🧵The CPC and NDP created a toxic parliamentary environment during a pandemic, exactly when we Canadians expected and deserved to see effective negotiation and collaboration to address our needs. Instead of being collaborators they were obstructionists resulting in this election.
Opposition MPs focused on solely on attacking the gov't in office and/or obstructionism are political misfits. Their antagonism neuters their ability to work collaboratively and produce results that benefit those whose interests they are elected to serve. They won't get my vote.
The CPC agenda is to expand by O'Toole becoming relevant and by creating a case for so called "moderate" or middle of the political road Canadians to vote CPC instead of Liberal. The CPC they do not have a close and honorable relationship with truth. And liars won't get my vote.
I'm not a liberal but O'Toole's & Singh's endless sloganeering, memes and baseless attacks on Trudeau's minority gov't clearly reveal neither one has what it takes to be a PM. Being tone deaf to Canadians needs during a pandemic characterizes what their twitter accounts tweet.
Conservatives are averse to change/innovation. They favor privatized health care & hold onto socially traditional ideas like opposition to abortion and same-sex marriage, and cutting restrictions on businesses that harm the environment. Regressive 50's clap trap won't get my vote
Singh joined the CPC in a #witchhunt and threw our students under the bus. They wasted months that should have been devoted to meeting our needs. As it was a money issue that required a vote both Trudeau & Morneau were damned if they recused and damned if they didn't recuse.
Canada is a confederation and federal/provincial collaboration is a required skill. I sincerely hoped that some NDP policies would make headway while the minority Liberal gov't was in power but Singh wasn't up to the job. Singh lacks skills of a statesman & NDP won't get my vote.
Singh and O'Toole have gaslighting & lying in common on the "snap" election topic. They spin their lies but we know that we are having a federal election because the CPC & NDP were unable to rise above partisanship & created a toxic parliamentary environment during a pandemic.

@JustinTrudeau is a true leader who addresses issues not personalities. He's kept his gov't focused on keeping Canadians safe & financially viable during this pandemic. The opposition preoccupied with bean counting & faux scandals don't have what it takes to govern, Trudeau does.

Singh contrived to have this private member's bill knowing it would not pass so he had that failure to use against the Liberals. Some voters may not get that but all 792 voters on my email list get it and are angry about it. That's why my long time NDP riding will not vote NDP.
We know the NDP will not become our federal gov't. We thought we knew they were closer to being Liberal allies than to being CPC allies. But things change. Consider this: Singh's campaign against Trudeau aimed at vote splitting may result in what Canada doesn't need, a CPC gov't
I have searched but Singh doesn't have a distinguished background in anything that I can locate and surely not in foreign affairs. All Singh seems to have is Trudeau HATRED. What Canadians need is HOPE for a brighter post COVID future and IMO that's what the Liberals provide.
