October 21, 1991 - A High-Tech Watergate

Eliot Richardson, AG in Nixon Admin and lawyer for INSLAW, lays out the case for a special prosecutor to be appointed.

Publicly states that new AG William Barr has assured him that he will address Richardson's concerns
Quite the saga Richardson lays out all in one long op-ed

AG Ed Meese's friend Dr. Earl Brian, a $250M DOJ contract to automate litigation divisions

Ursula's Biotech Capital Corp deal

30 people w/ serious accusations

AG Thornburgh does not act
under subpoena, Thornburgh produces many files but DOJ said volume containing key docs was missing

Ronald LeGrand, Senate Judiciary chief investigator, said INSLAW case was "a lot dirtier than Watergate had been, both its breadth & its depth"

Michael Riconosciuto's wild claims
Riconosciuto claimed Reagan DOJ stole INSLAW's PROMIS software as part of a payoff to Dr. Earl Brian for helping to get Iranian leaders to collude in the so-called October Surprise, the alleged plot by Reagan campaign in 1980
to conspire with Iranian agents to hold up release of American embassy hostages until after the election!!

Riconosciuto is currently in jail in Tacoma on drug charges, which he says are trumped up

add'l covert ops informants tell the INSLAW team that
scores of foreign gov'ts now have PROMIS.

Dr. Brian, these informants say, was given the chance to sell the software as reward for his services in the October Surprise

The reported sales allegedly had 2 aims: 1 was to generate revenue for covert ops not authorized by Congress
the 2nd was to supply foreign intel agencies with a software system that would make it easier for US eavesdroppers to read intercepted signals
Richardson: Danny Casolaro told friends that he had evidence linking INSLAW, the Iran-Contra affair and the October Surprise, and was going to WV to meet a source to receive the final piece of proof.

His briefcase was missing. I believe [Casolaro] was murdered.
Richardson ends by noting some interesting parallels between the early days of the Watergate scandal investigation and how the President's involvement in the crimes gradually became more apparent

He suggests the same is likely for the INSLAW affair
very interesting that AG Barr, of course, kept this scandal covered up and did NOT appoint a special prosecutor

does that imply the sinister implications of the case are true?

Interesting to look at Lenovo's purchase of IBM's PC and later its server businesses, considering Lenovo is a tech arm of PRC & IBM has a checkered tech past

@washingtonpost Maggie Haberman #TrumpWhisperer profile mentions husband Dareh Gregorian (NYPost, NBCNews), her prior Politico job, @nytimes journo dad Clyde

But they forgot to mention her mom Nancy works at Rubenstein Public Relations - Trump's PR firm!
washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/medi…
a pretty conspicuous omission...

Nancy mentions her family is all journalist on her Rubenstein bio

Rubenstein founder died in December 2020 - working PR for Trump's Ivana divorce is mentioned

MSM still purposely not connecting dots. Trump's not even the POTUS anymore, and not on twitter (threat of mean tweets). why protect him?

October 10, 1963: Syndicate Cities Listed by Velachi

12 cities: Philly, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, LA, SF, Tampa, Newark, Detroit, Buffalo, Utica, and New Orleans

Velachi said the Syndicate also operated in Miami and Las Vegas, but those were "open" cities without families
August 18, 1964 - Profacis' Roots Deep In Brooklyn

OMG - Profaci's gang was the oldest in Brooklyn!

RFK called Profaci "one of the most powerful underworld figures in the US"

Did LoCicero become the new Boss? His rule seems disputed - he signs his name with an "X" 🤦‍♂️

NSO: well, now that you caught us red-handed...

we'll definitely "investigate" what happened!

That's nice, Shalev, but did you stop selling these tools to Dictators and the Global Mob??
NSO has said its products should only be used by its government clients to investigate terrorism or major crimes... not to DO Terrorism and Major Crimes!

Lol... NSO monitors their tech about as well as Facebook does?

You'd think such a targeted attack on journalists around the world would inspire journalists to focus on the

#DarkMoney forces & politicians who support anti-democratic technologies like this? 🤔
All the groups who use this military-grade spyware are autocrats or their enablers

US media need to stop #BothSides-ing #Jan6 & calling out attacks on democracies.
