13 y.o. Mkayla Robinson, 8th grade student in Raleigh, Mississippi died from COVID on August 14, 2021. She was the perfect student and part of the school band. #SoulsLostToCovid wlox.com/2021/08/18/par…

The eighth grader came home from Raleigh High School with a sore throat. Over the course of two days she had a 105 temperature, was too weak to walk and had difficulty breathing.

“Why does it take my baby to pass for all this uprising?” asked the 37-year-old mother of three.

“Yes, Nick and I did not get the shot,” she wrote on Facebook. “As many other people in our lives, we believed everything that was being said. Infertility. Nick and I wanted one more child.”

Lacy Boutwell said that she has changed her mind about the shot and will get one for her daughter.

“She can not lose another parent because of this terrible disease,” Boutwell said.
