NEW INFORMATION: A new analysis from the @TNDeptofHealth shows that children ages 0-18 years made up **38.5%** of all new #COVID19 cases in the state of Tennessee last week, up from 35.7% the week before. 1/x
Cumulatively, teens ages 14-18 years make up 42.5% of #COVID19 cases among Tennessee children. This is an age group that is eligible for vaccination!!! Kids ages 11-13 make up the next largest group. 12 and up can get the shot! 2/
Cumulatively, Shelby and Davidson have more children who have been diagnosed with #COVID19 (b/c of greater populations). But when viewed as case rate per 100K, Shelby and Davidson fare better than the rest of the state. 3/
