An addendum: I feel I should explain the timeline of how I finally got hold of these ATIP results, which were delivered in the form of an 85-page PDF which was burned onto a DVD, which was sent to me in the mail, which is a TOTALLY NORMAL way to send a small digital document

August 2019: I get a phone call out of the blue from CRA. Do I still want the results of my request? Hell yes I do

August 2020: I phone CRA. How’s my ATIP response going? Still working on it, says CRA FOI guy
July 28 2021: receive call from CRA dude saying my response is READY. Oh, FYI, he tells me all the folk who originally worked on this request have since changed jobs now
August 10 2021: DVD with result is stamped
August 17 2021: Trumpets & clarions announce the delivery of DVD in the mail. I cry, a little. I give thanks that @SCMPNews pays me a salary and not word rate. I locate an ancient computer with a DVD reader. I start writing story. Ironically, I start stressing about the deadline
