I'm back, kings.

To celebrate,

1 RT = 1 Twitter secret from your favorite Money Twitter guru's

Verified checks'

And multi-million-dollar startup founders's ghostwriter:
95% of the retweets you see are either paid for, traded or strategic.
Those who focus on selling will reach $10k faster than those who focus on connecting.

Those who focus on connecting will reach $100k faster than those who focus on selling.
A good tweet makes people go "that's interesting"

A great tweet makes people go "that's me"
People like tweets they find interesting and retweet those that confirm their beliefs.
Writing copy (specifically leads and headlines) teaches you more about tweets than growth guides.
Stop trying to be original.

Twitter is just saying 1 thing, 1000 different ways.
The worst thing you can do is to do something unethical.

It will kill your name overnight.

Not worth the $$$.
Nobody respects free.

I had a free PDF up for months and nobody cared.

Then I put a price tag on a product and suddently everyone started using it.

Put a price on your work.
Block both news-related keywords and annoying accounts for maximum enjoyment

Mass-block NY Times journalists: blocknyt.com

Here's some words I have muted.

Have fun.
If you want to be someone on Twitter, be someone outside of Twitter.
The lesson I repeat to myself every day:

Most good writers are not better than you.

They just write way more than you and publish the 1% that doesn’t suck.
Nobody has it figured out.

Not the 10k account, not the million follower account, not me.

Loosen up, nobody knows shit.
Want followers? Tweet your story
Want newsletter signups? When a tweet does well, plug in your newsletter below. (Also works for sales and affiliates)
Want engagement? Add your own twist to another viral tweet
Want sales? Tweet proof of work (dashboard screenshots, before and afters, testimonials)
If sharing that thread doesn't hurt a little, it's not a good thread.

Want deals? Tweet how-to’s and case studies in a thread, put a baity headline on it, then ask people to DM you. Get them on a call and close them on the call.
Worrying about low engagement is a sign that you're not playing the long game.
Don't beef.

Ignore and the problem goes away in 2 days.
If engagement and followers are down but your sales are up, you're winning.

If sales are down but engagement and followers are up, you're losing.
"The real Twitter measure is not engagement. It's how many people are talking about your ideas"

The price you pay for being a platitude account is the leverage associated with your name.
Most good writers are not better than you.

They just write way more than you and publish the 1%.
IMO the best use of Twitter is getting people to join your email list.

Then monetizing the shit out of that list.
Twitter is best when you do awesome stuff all day then come back to report what you learned at night.
If you think in terms of engagement and likes before you tweet, you already lost.
If you're on Money Twitter for months and you haven't made a couple grand at least, you're not paying attention.
Nobody has it figured out.

Not the 10k account, not the million follower account, not me.

Loosen up, nobody knows shit.
The best way to make a big account notice you is giving them something they value for free.

Do:

Edit their copy, give them business ideas, write a sales email for them

Don't:

Make banners (everyone does), offer help just because, and please don't fucking ask for money
Be a sage in your tweets. Be a bro in the comments.

Don't be a robot.

Chances are you'll get noticed more if you're chill and funny than if you just rephrase what they just said.
The algorithm isn't against you. You just need to tweet better.
Don't use Twitter Web App, use Tweetdeck.

1. Filter only by mentions and comment tweets

2. Add your messages

3. Add your lists

Twitter, but better.
Twitter isn't the money-maker.

Twitter brings people to the money-makers:

Email lists, blogs, sales pages, partnerships, DMs, etc...
Writing an effective thread:

Spend 90% of your time crafting a baity headline and ONE CTA at the end.

10% writing the actual thread.
If engagement and followers are down but your sales are up, you're winning.

If sales are down but engagement and followers are up, you're losing.

I've been on Twitter for 16 months now

Hundreds of thousands of dollars

And a ton of meaningful connections later

Here's the tl;dr:
1. There are 5 things that a Twitter account wants

Ranked by importance:

5) Followers
4) Engagement
3) Newsletter signups
2) Sales
1) Deals in the backend

The problem is people focus on 5 and 4 too much and not in 3, 2 and 1.
2. Meet people in real life

This doesn't make sense at the begining,

But if you're on "Money Twitter" chances are you have a friend in any major city in the world

@thehdmovement, @deeperthrill and me eating Japanese tapas in NYC:

How I got a friend 1,949 followers in a day

And 1,077 followers 3 days later.

This is easy when you tweet like this:

(continued)
Optimize your Twitter account for what you want:

Want sales? Tweet testimonials + proof

Want engagement? Tweet relatability + humor + talk about what's going on in the world (Bitcoin, Olympics, etc)

Want deals? Tweet how-to's + walkthroughs + client's results
Want followers? Tweet STORIES

It's all fair game:

- Sob stories
- Rags to riches
- How you achieved X with limitiation Y despite Z
- How you made BIG $$$ in a day
- Lessons X experience taught you
- Failures in your biz
- Wins in your biz

Make it about YOU

How me and @EdLatimore made over $10,000 a day last week

We've have launched ~15 products on our own, and this one was -by far- the biggest

4 weeks and nearly six figures later, here's our product launch manifesto:
This strategy was inspired by @wizofecom's Social Studio, combined with Ed's and my experience

There's obviously room for improvement, but nearly six figures later I thought this is really useful for everyone who wants to launch their own product

Let's talk Twitter dinero:
It all starts with the copy.

Copy makes everything easier to sell

Not because of what customers see

But because it makes YOU, the creator, clear on what your product does

I like the @ComedicBizman approach and obsess over these 7:
