🚨 I am not being hyperbolic. We’ve been sounding this alarm FOR YEARS with seemingly NO ONE in any position of authority taking it seriously. EVERY MINUTE that passes without any shred of accountability for this party of criminals, terrorists, & traitors further endangers us all

I understand Biden entered the WH with a MULTITUDE of overlapping crises to address. And I understand his impulse to prioritize vaccines and COVID relief above all else. But we are seeing now the futility of this because the @GOP literally WANTS COVID cases to continue to spike.

But this is not something he can continue to avoid directly addressing out of fear of sounding “partisan.” A MAJOR POLITICAL PARTY WAGING A DISINFORMATION AND PROPAGANDA CAMPAIGN THAT IS COSTING AMERICAN LIVES EVERY SINGLE DAY DEMANDS IMMEDIATE AND RESOLUTE ACTION/CONSEQUENCES.

Garland’s first order of business upon being confirmed was not rocket science. And was FIRING EVERY INDIVIDUAL AT THE DOJ THAT ALLOWED THEMSELVES TO BE USED AS A WEAPON AGAINST TRUMP’S ENEMIES AND A SHIELD TO PROTECT HIM FROM FACING JUSTICE FOR HIS CRIMES.

His 2nd was SEIZING EVERY SINGLE SCRAP OF EVIDENCE that was left behind so that it could be systematically reconstructed PIECE BY PIECE to ensure that EVERYONE involved was brought to justice; starting with Trump, his admin, and ANYONE involved in coordinating/executing Jan 6th

3rd, a competent special counsel (or 4) should have IMMEDIATELY been appointed to investigate the following:
1.) Trump’s crimes in office and those of his @GOP enablers in Congress
2.) His meeting with Putin in Helsinki
3.) Who paid Kavanaugh’s debts?
4.) His incitement of Jan 6

4th, investigations needed to be opened into every @GOP member of Congress who voted to overturn the results of a free and fair election and “acquit” a blatantly guilty monstrosity even after HE INCITED AN INSURRECTION AIMED AT ASSASSINATING ALL OF THEM to illegally reinstall him

Instead, we got nothing but silence from Garland for nearly 6 months until learning that not only did he do NONE OF THIS, but actually seemed to be intent on continuing to DEFEND Trump in the case against him by @ejeancarroll and keeping the DOJ as a shield to obstruct Justice.

The AG must prioritize restoring justice to the DOJ, not obstructing it. THIS IS NOT PARTISAN. If an entire political party conspires to spread dangerous lies that incite deadly terrorist insurrections and kill thousands through disinformation campaigns, THEY MUST BE PROSECUTED.

If Garland doesn’t think it’s the DOJ’s place to involve itself here, he is FUNDAMENTALLY UNFIT to lead the agency and should resign or be replaced IMMEDIATELY. We cannot sit around waiting for another attack, which we empower every day no one is held accountable for the 1st one.

So please tell me @JoeBiden @VP @SpeakerPelosi @SenSchumer @HouseDemocrats @HouseJudiciary what you are currently doing to protect us from an attack that is being waged against us from within the walls of Congress. What steps will you take if Garland refuses to prosecute Trump?

What steps will you take when Republican members of Congress laugh at your subpoenas to appear before your January 6th select committee and testify under oath? We gave you the WH, the House, and even flipped the Senate in 2020 because WE DEMAND JUSTICE FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS

What are you prepared to do to get @SenatorSinema and @JoeManchinWV to abolish the filibuster so we can FINALLY PASS CRITICAL LEGISLATION to curb @GOP corruption, expand voting rights, end gerrymandering, and actually STOP this criminal enterprise from retaking control in 2022?

As the majority of people that worked TIRELESSLY to give you the power you now have, we deserve to know that our voting rights will be secured; that our futures will not be a fascist dystopia plagued by endless disease & disinformation; & that the @GOP will be brought to justice.
