You’re mistaken.
I think the problem is you were a Republican for so much of your life, that we all look the same to you.
Some of us can not only draw blood, we’re very good at it, & we enjoy doing it.
Some of us are highly skilled & credentialed in the dark arts ourselves. 1/
The problem isn’t that we couldn’t draw blood in a butcher shop, or that we don’t know how to say fuck you, I say frequently.
The problem with the Democrats is the same thing that makes them so incredibly good at governing (the GOP, btw, is absolute shit governing, no matter 2/
how many elections they win or agendas they wreck) is the same thing that makes them them so incredibly bad at this: it’s an absolute insistence professionalism, careerism, dedication to civil service.
My sister & my nephew were both in democratic politics, there’s an unspoken 3/
requirement that you be either wise old sage, or a starry eyed young acolyte & everyone must be 💯 pure of heart.
They don’t want mercenaries, they they don’t even want consultants. They just want Aaron Sorkin characters.
And they’re not willing to hire outside of the cult. 4/
It’s not that we Machiavellian Democrats don’t exist, it’s that we don’t fit into a template that works with the party’s self image.
Even though we too, are in fact, their voters.
Shit man, I literally wrote the book on lies manipulation and propaganda, a couple of them. 5/
And major global gem companies (and pharma) pay me a pretty penny to influence people‘s opinions without them ever knowing it.
I would do this for free for the DNC. I have a vast & formidable array of skills & talents that I would love to weaponize on behalf of democracy. 6/
But that kind of shit… Well, it’s just not them.
Their incompetence is not how they handle these things (every time), it’s in their refusal to hire outside of their own insular like-minded echo chamber.
And in their refusal to acknowledge that Democrats come in all shapes 7/
and sizes and psychographic persuasions. Really the only thing we have in common is being Democrats.
I am committed to you know, DEMOCRACY. Free and fair elections. Equality, and equity for all. Equally applied to all. And fuck it, not burning to death in a firenato because 8/
10-20 years ago asshat just didn’t think the science was conclusive enough to support him making less $.
Oh & justice for treason, insurrection, or domestic terrorism.
But beyond that, I’m pretty comfortable in the moral gray area that’s it’s so distressing to the Dem Party. 9/
And I think they need to get over it.
As long as we’re all rowing in the same direction, it should be fine if some of us are rowing in brass knuckles.
They’re not BAD AT THIS. They’re just hiring the wrong people. They’re taking the wrong advice. In this arena, anyway. 10/
The same way Dems hire all of the *right* people for those cabinet positions that Republicans like to fill with flunkies and donors, Dems have a weak spot in that they sort of do the same thing; in positions that require a different mindset, skill set and temperament, 11/
Democrats just go right ahead hire the same starry eyed, pure of heart (dare-I-say a little guileless?) Ivy League educated, political science majors.
Then they wonder why their Steve Bannon turned out to be -we don’t know their names because they never accomplish anything- 12/
The last smart hire they made was James Carville, & I was a tiny child. They’re fishing in the wrong pond.
They need to stop recruiting fixers & strategist & propagandist from the same place they’re getting WH staffers, cabinet appointees & future candidates. They’re not up /13
to it, anymore than the GOP’s flunkies & donors & perverts & black mailers are up to their cabinet positions.
Dems need to start recruiting from more cutthroat industries: Hollywood, entertainment in general, Advertising, Pharma, luxury industries, particularly the Diamond 14/
or Gem trade - though couture fashion’s pretty horrific too. Multi trillion dollar business - far more vicious than you’d imagine - and then there’s weapons.
People that work for arms manufactures or lobbyists *do* know how to do this. 15/
I’ll grant you their skill set is NOT significantly different than someone who works for a diamond company, or drug company, or even an PR firm or a movie studio. Their product is just deadlier.
I guess the question is how many Democrats actually work in industries like these?15/
Hi, my name is Aja, I’m a Democrat, and I’d like to volunteer for the war effort.

The reason people are addicted to FB isn’t the social networking. There are lots of platforms for that. It’s because before there were others, we put our whole lives on it. Our conversations, photos, relationships, major life events - for 15 years our whole fucking 1/
lives became digitized. They’re holding our memories hostage. That’s why people keep going back. That’s why people say delete Facebook but they don’t really delete their accounts. They keep them active but just check in on them occasionally. They can’t give them up 2/
because it was their whole 20s and 30s , Or their whole teens and 20s, or maybe they were older and it’s all of their memories with their children – you get the gist.
They’re holding our memories hostage.
that’s how they keep people chained to Facebook. Because as tough as we 3/
No. They’re not morons. But they’re desperate & evil.
The GOP’s not a political party anymore, they’re a cult of personality & they can’t count on their voters to show up for a midterm election in which their cult leader‘s not on the ticket.
So they’re looking into ways to 1/
keep Democrats from showing up in large numbers either.
Voter suppression laws, (ancient but perennial with Republicans) mass evictions before fall 2022 (can’t vote without a street address, just ask folks on a reservation) & most shocking & difficult to believe: ways to kill 2/
large numbers of voters in purple states.
Covid makes a big job easy!
This will also include their own voters, certainly, but like I said, they can’t count on them to show up for this voting cycle anyway, (because Trumps not on the ballot) so it’s OK if they kill them too. 3/
@Drea_got_rage This information is already really easy to find:Justice Kennedy‘s son was Trump’s personal loan officer at Deutsche Bank when no other bank would touch him. That’s why Kennedy resigned from the SCOTUS as soon as Trump came into office. Deutsche Bank mostly launders $ for Putin.1/
@Drea_got_rage and a few hundred other oligarchs & also a lot of Saudi money...
The reason Trumps businesses all look like they’re failing is because when you launder money you lose money. It’s like exchanging currency: you can’t exchange an = amount of dollars for pounds of pesos, when you 2/
@Drea_got_rage exchange currency, you lose a little bit because you’re paying for the service.
When you launder money, you lose a little bit every time. That’s just how money laundering works.
So from the outside, a really successful money laundering operation looks like a failing business. 4/
📚COVER REVEAL📚
Get excited Stoned fans, it’s finally here! Well the cover art is here anyway, and it’s really good.
Have a peek at the cover of The Truth About Lies: The Illusion of Honesty and the Evolution of Deceit.
✨Why do you believe what you believe?
You’ve been lied to. Probably a lot. Maybe you knew, maybe you didn’t. Maybe you found out later. The thing is, when we realize we’ve been deceived, we’re always stunned.
We can’t believe we were taken in, “What was I thinking? How could I have believed that?”
We always wonder why we believe the lie. But have you ever wondered why you believe the TRUTH?✨
Media & social media have been a total love requiem for Liz Warren all day, and it’s such gross hypocrisy.
I never liked Warren.
She had many fine qualities as a candidate, but she lied constantly; often about trivial things. It made her liability in the general election.
But 1/
But watching the media canonize her tonight, as though it was some unexpected tragedy that she ended her campaign the day after everyone demanded she and her campaign, kind of reminds me of the way they wouldn’t mention Kamala Harris, and then as soon as she left the race 2/
Everyone was shocked! And there was so much looking askance and “her voice will be missed.”
Really?
I remember thinking “you guys are gonna miss her voice? Did you ever even hear it? Because you didn’t cover it.”
And I’m reminded people told me they might hold her nose & vote 3/
@patribotics@riotwomennn@SallyAlbright@ag_due@Selena_Adera He’s beet red. No pun intended. He’s gasping in a very particular way that shows his blood pressures too high, his blood sugar is too high & he’s not exchanging co2 correctly. He can’t breath because his kidneys are damaged. The added stress throws you’re blood pressure up& 1/
@patribotics@riotwomennn@SallyAlbright@ag_due@Selena_Adera In a way that further damages kidney his function, reinforcing and exaggerating the uncontrollable high blood pressure and sugar worsening from both ongoing stress and the handicap of his damaged kidneys. 2/
@patribotics@riotwomennn@SallyAlbright@ag_due@Selena_Adera Cortisol (a stress hormone) drives your blood sugar up. This is normal under normal circumstances. But then it comes down. He’s not under normal stress, he has uncontrolled high blood pressure damaging his kidneys (which also modulate blood sugar) and lead to escalating high 3/
