Seven years ago NATO leaders agreed that a cyber-attack on one member nation can be treated as a cyber-attack on all members. Russia has since committed many devastating acts of war in this manner. NATO should respond by launching military or cyber-attacks against the aggressor.
Most NATO member countries except a few in Eastern Europe are in the grip of extremist Russia-appeasement factions. Some of these elites are corrupted or compromised by the Putin-Kremlin crime syndicate. All of them are so risk-averse they are paralyzed to total inaction.
The most risk-averse of Russia-appeasing NATO countries is Canada. Canada won’t expand Russia sanctions to Putin and his inner circle; won’t back a MAP for Ukraine in NATO; won’t arm Ukraine; won’t oppose Russia’s Nord Stream 2 war project.

Canada’s inaction helps #PutinAtWar
Article 5 should be invoked over Russia’s cyber-attacks. But it is not. What good is NATO?

Non-NATO Ukraine is the only fighting defender of Europe against Russia’s invasion. No NATO member recognizes that Putin’s War is real. What good is NATO?

See the world the way Ukrainians see it. Invaded by Russia in Crimea and Donbas. Surrounded by Russian forces and Chekist warfare on all sides. Excluded from NATO and the EU. Left to defend Europe from Russian armed aggression for 7 1/2 years – alone.

I translated a map from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, talks about how many Russian troops are in occupied Ukraine and near Ukraine.
armyinform.com.ua/2021/09/golovn…
There are more than 37,000 soldiers in Russian-occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The 1st and 2nd Army Corps make up Russian occupation forces in the east of Ukraine. These troops are subordinated to the command staff of the 8th Army, Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

On September 6, Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy met with a Republican-only delegation of US politicians: Senators Lindsey Graham, John Barrasso, Tommy Tuberville and Ben Sasse, and Representative William Timmons.

There’s no clear reason for the Kyiv visit.

president.gov.ua/en/news/prezid…
By entertaining the American treason caucus, Zelenskyy risks reviving the Putin/Trump/Giuliani active measures to undermine Ukraine. The “peace plan for Crimea” operation of 2016 and the “dirt on Biden in Ukraine” fabrication of 2019 are still fresh in the minds of Ukrainians.
To Zelenskyy’s left, leaning forward, is Andriy Yermak. He was made head of the presidential administration in violation of Ukraine’s lustration law.

Yermak is suspected by Ukrainian analysts as well as British and US intelligence of being Russian agent “Kozyr” – “trump card.”

This morning Russian occupation forces in the east of Ukraine dropped two improvised explosive devices from an unmanned aerial vehicle. The bombs were made using a 3D printer and contained half a kilogram of plastic explosive each. The attack was against civilians in Zaytseve.
There is no question Russia is a regime of state terrorism.

Zaytseve is north of Russian-occupied Horlivka, Donetsk region, Ukraine. The Russian army invading Ukraine committed a war crime, targeting civilians in the September 6th attack.

“Specially made ‘cassettes’ with steel balls up to 6 mm in diameter were used as impressive elements.”

The Russians made this weapon to maim and kill Ukrainians, not to destroy a military target.

Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor have been held hostage by China for 1,000 days.

Each day in his windowless concrete prison cell, Michael Kovrig walks 7,000 steps to stay strong and sane.

In 30 minutes a solidarity walk starts in Windsor Park, Ottawa. I’ll be there.

The Russian occupation regime in Crimea, Ukraine 'disappeared' four Crimean Tatar activists today. When relatives and friends came to ask for information they were taken away.

The brutality of the Russian regime of state terrorism is getting worse.

#RussiaInvadedUkraine
Correction: I’ve been informed that the Russians kidnapped five people.
The five people abducted are: Shevket Useinov, Aziz Akhtemov, Eldar Odamanov, Nariman Dzhelyal and Asan Akhmetov.

Nariman Dzhelyal is deputy chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People.

Putin’s terror in Crimea today is approaching Stalin’s terror of 1944.

Manafort-directed Russian asset Yanukovych was convicted of treason against the Ukrainian people.

Manafort-directed Russian asset Trump remains unpunished for his crimes and treason against the American people.
Ukrainians overturned the Russian-led falsification of the 2004 presidential election with the Orange Revolution and a repeated vote.

Americans let the Russian-led falsification of the 2016 presidential election stand.
The Revolution of Dignity of the Ukrainian people ended the de facto dictatorship of Yanukovych. It stopped anti-democracy mobs from attacking public buildings in many cities.

Americans were bystanders for the Insurrection, when the Capitol was attacked by an anti-democracy mob.
