On the bright side, Green/Yellow stations north of Fort Totten have reopened.
On the downside, trains are experiencing speed readout issues (meaning they're having to travel slower) between West Hyattsville and Prince George's Plaza. #wmata
At 8am, Yellow and Green line trains are running with delays, concentrated mainly between West Hyattsville and College Park. Expect trains towards Greenbelt to hold at stations as directed by the ROCC and travel slowly in between. #wmata
Sometimes when #wmata does major trackwork they also replace ballast, the rocks under the tracks, which requires slow speeds while it settles and adjusts.
Today's speed restrictions are a combination of that plus add'l ATC speed command issues.
Green and Yellow line trains continue to suffer performance issues due to trains traveling slower on the outbound track north of Fort Totten (ATC circuit issue, apparently). I wouldn't be surprised if #wmata begins to turn Yellow line trains at Mt Vernon Sq at some point.
Trains are currently running every ~16 minutes when they're scheduled to run every 12 (and 10min during rush) due to ATC track circuit issues. But yes, they're open again. #wmata
Live look at the Yellow/Green lines, which are suffering from an ATC track circuit issue on the northbound track around Prince George's Plaza. Trains are delayed heading north & affecting southbound trains too. #wmata
UPDATE: Yellow Line trains are offload & turn around at Fort Totten. YL/307 at Fort Totten is first to turn around. Transfer to Green to continue north. #wmata
Indeed, #wmata is still experiencing an ATC circuit issue near Prince George's Plaza. Delays are much diminished since Yellow Line trains began turning at Fort Totten, but they're still affecting trains.
Yellow and Green line trains appear to be operating normally between Fort Totten and Greenbelt today. Yesterday's ATC issue appears to have been fixed. #wmata

On Kojo, #wmata GM/CEO says the agency was lagging behind the region in its vaccination rate, but he didn't say what the agency's current percentage is.
Sherwood: Gondola???
Wiedefeld: "Tom, I run buses and trains, not gondolas"
Wiedefeld: #wmata didn't investigate taller or more difficult-to-jump faregates; he says the system's architecture presents a limitation
I defer to @dcmetrohero on the accuracy of the data, but it appears #wmata@Metrobusinfo has missed about ~100-140 bus trips over the past 3 hours this morning across its network.
Red Line delays due to a signal problem near Silver Spring. Trains in both directions will experience delays. #wmata
Red Line delays are primarily affecting Glenmont-bound tracks, as train operators are still going to the roadway and clamping switches. This'll impact Shady Grove-bound service as the gap in trains propagates. #wmata
Possible Green Line delays; #wmata reports they had a temporary loss of power at West Hyattsville, at the same time a train operator reported another train was possibly smoking (perhaps stuck brakes).
GR/Branch Ave train 508 is offloading @ West Hyattsville through the front-most door.
"Metrorail reactivated the Alexandria Rail Yard (C99) Automatic Train Control (ATC) system over the safety-based objections of Metrorail's subject matter experts, the ATC Engineering Department" #wmata
WMSC has a slight bit of detail about the Potomac Yard ATC signaling design delay in today's latest findings. The initial design didn't align with #wmata standards, and the agency wasn't following them. Metro itself delayed the project to fix the deficiency.
