2. When she contested l was clear with her, l was not going to send them any black tax for 6 months. It was a matter of principle. If you want my Western Union records am glad to give u. I can't force them not to support ZANU but l can't let my resources be used for that.

3. My struggle against ZANU PF is personal and it started on 13 March 1995 when my father then a nurse at Nyahombe was fired from his job on frivolous charges though it was mainly due to the factional fights that involved Mavhaire, Zvobgo, Muzenda and Hungwe...

4. Why is it personal, the dismissal had painful consequences for me. I had to drop out of school at Lundi. This led to a chain reactions that saw me attend 6 schools in 6 yrs. I had to grow up faster and to understand political dynamics earlier than most of my age mates.

5. For the record, in 1996 at Mufakose we formed an opposition political party 🙈 its name was LAVANOZ... We were secondary sch kids but l was punished for that... @simbamabaya can testify. Anyway, l am my own man with my set of principles.

6. ZANU tried to entice me. They tried to back in 2001 when l was at UZ but l can't be bought. When trinkets failed they tried scotched-earth policy. My suspensions at UZ & My struggles with the likes of ana Obadiah Moyo & Health Professions Authority are well documented.

7. I keep telling these young ZANU varakashi, had l been cheap l wld be occupying a blood-fuelled post in their party but l am principled, consistent and honest. I derive pleasure in fighting for others and seeing the fall of wicked men!

8. Now @ProfJNMoyo, l am glad you have been pressured to some sort of apology. I am too clean to be Lacoste. I have a conscience and empathy. My preoccupation is to deploy every intellectual and technical resource l have towards removal of Mnangagwa and ZANU PF.

9. On a final note, a progressive and sincere ally has clarity and honesty. @ProfJNMoyo's thread is a lot of crap. I still liken him to a skunk, when cornered it farts and poops on everything and everyone. A simple standalone apology wld have done a better job.

1. MDC is and has always been a coalition. We had workers (ZCTU), Farmers (ZFU), students (ZINASU), NCA, churches etc.Despite our backgrounds we operated as one entity with a single identity. It was not just a loose pact for elections but an operational & institutional coalition

2. The current voices lack clarity, are they pushing for an institutional & operational coalition or for a loose electoral pact? There is already an institution with multiple entities that have left their previous identities to be in MDC-Alliance. What's so special now?

3. If all they want is an electoral pact, then now is not the time. An assessment will be made as to whom has what. Everything has to be data driven. Which constituency will Nkosana or Manyika win that MDC cannot win? There is no data that support an election pact at parl level

1. Years ago we bought a bull that we wanted to slaughter for meat. We were going to slaughter it the Zimbabwean way - by cutting its throat. One Motswana gentleman who was present offered to do it the Setswana way which he said was faster, efficient and less painful....

2. We offered him the neck meat upfront for his trouble. He was an expert. He told us where to hold, what to do when he strikes. He took a sharp knife and drilled once onto the top of the head straight into the brains. The bull fell and was immobilized.

3. We celebrated this mastery & untied the beast. The gentleman then moved to withdraw the knife; suddenly the bull sprang to life, fuming with anger. We scattered in all directions as the bull charged at the gentleman. We could hear him call his mother as he ran for dear life.

1. I do get a lot of DMs from parents & students alike for career guidance. Am not good at that. A lot of things come down to opportunity, luck & prep. But I will share my thoughts & hopefully help someone. I spent 4 yrs at UZ studying MedLabSciences. Wanted to be an immunologist

2. When I got to UZ, I had never touched a computer taidzionera kwana bursar kwedu kumachonyonyo. So, I had no idea what Computer Sciences meant. Fortunately there was a guy Chitiyo who had Win95 where we played Bow n Arrow. He taught me to use a mouse😊

1. Long weekend like this is when I miss some folks esp my late Kule Muza. Those who went to PE might remember him. Whenever available we wld take him drinking. After 2 or 3 he wld announce that it was time for intellectual discourse. We used to call it "Nguva yema isms."

1. Dear youths, don't even think there is something wrong with you because you don't own a business or you are not an "entrepreneur". Businesses are usually started by employees that have been able to save a little. Most of you have never been employed, banks don't capital

2. It is not always that pple graduate from University and think of starting a business, not in a country like Zimbabwe where venture capital is non-existent. Most ideas for businesses come from work. You see what your company is doing wrong, you go on your own and improve...

3. Check how Silicon Valley grew. Most of the companies were started by folks that left Bell Labs. Now you have a huge ecosystem there. Same in Zimbabwe, Masiyiwa had to leave PTC. You usually need the work experience to understand how business functions.

1. I think the first steps in race,tribe,war,genocide issues must include learning about guilt vs responsibility. Then we move to justice - punitive justice & restorative justice. White pple have a responsibility to right the wrongs of slavery & racism. So do Shona on Gukurahundi

2. The people who enslave or actively engage in racists acts must be punished. So do those who enact racist laws. Those who inherit systems built on racism have the responsibility to dismantle them even if it benefits them. Failure to do so is complicity.

3. The same applies to Gukurahundi. Pretty much the majority of Shona pple are not guilty of the massacres. But we also know that ZANU used the military to massacre non-Shona-speaking pple of Matabeleland under the pretext hunting for dissidents. Who did ZANU prefer? Shona pple
