I never tried collagen supplements as the reigning idea at the time suggested that if your collagen was being made incorrectly, taking supplemental collagen would not be helpful. 2/5
Fast forward to 2019 and recent hEDS research showing that there are major differences between cEDS_vEDS/hEDS and ONE of them relates to this COLLAGEN ISSUE: collagen biosynthesis/processing issues are NOT occurring in hEDS (see mdpi.com/2073-4425/10/8…. 3/5
So...bottom line: I am now taking supplemental collagen. And yes, I am seeing a difference in my skin elasticity. 4/5
Our skin turns over ~30 days, so its a pretty quick check to see if collagen might be worth it for you. If its having an effect on the outside, chances are its having an effect on this inside. 5/5

We know that brain wave patterns change during meditation. The normal alert resting state of the brain dominated by alpha waves shifts to theta, delta, and gamma frequencies. States of flow in extreme athletes are likewise correlated with theta waves. 2/17
Psychedelics like psilocybin, LSD, ketamine, and DMT/Ayahuasca also change brain wave patterns. We can predict with good certainty that changing the state of consciousness involves changing brain wave frequencies. 3/17
