FOURTH WITNESS: Lt. John Sarkisian with @EPCSheriff was leading many of the searches for #GannonStauch from Jan. 31 - late Feb. Drones, 4-wheelers, horses, prodding poles, K-9's, any tools available they were using. At one point, Parks and Wildlife came out to use sonar.
Some days 20-30 searchers other days over a hundred, according to Lt. Sarkisian. They had to use prodding poles because the snow was soo thick in the area north of Palmer Lake to search for #GannonStauch.
Started search around #GannonStauch home around Lorson Ranch then went to Fountain Creek and North of Palmer Lake. Lt. Sarkisian said they were getting information from #LeteciaStauch vehicle tracker data.
On Perry Park Road, there is an S-Curve and they focused their search one day there. Lt. Sarkisian is looking at exhibits now of the search area and a piece of a plywood board and a closer picture of what is on the board.
A K-9 had alerted to an area next to the S-curve near on Feb.13 near a berm which was 7-8 feet tall. Lt. Sarkisian believed the plywood had blood on it. He tipped it up and put it back down. He said he barely moved it. The defense is asking if the footprints were documented
Lt. Sarkisian said didn't document footprints. There were hundreds of searchers. The defense is asking if there was anything linking the plywood to #LeteciaStauch home. Attorney Tolini asked what the weather was like out there from Jan. 28-Feb. 15. Snow & sunny days. LUNCH NOW
D.A. Michael Allen said they will likely finish their evidence today. He is asking the judge if they can bring #LeteciaStauch back later today. The judge said logistically it will be a hurdle.

BACK IN COURT: #LeteciaStauch is on Webex and is waiving her right for a preliminary hearing for her escape case. The judge will come back on Sept. 23 at 9 a.m. to make a ruling. @FOX21News
Judge Gregory Weirner said he has a ton of notes and wants to get it right. So he wants time to put it together. There are a lot of charges. There was much of the evidence that he hadn't heard before.
DA Michael Allen is asking if the judge will make a private Webex for the family members who are out of state. He said logistically yes it's possible, but he is not sure if it complies with the laws of the court. The judge will have to think about it. There is no objection.
Exhibit 38: Photo of the masterbedroom the southeast corner of the home. A gun was recovered from this bedroom according to Sgt. Hubbell. It was found on top of the dresser. He said this is the room #LeteciaStauch stayed in.
The gun is next to a teddy bear and a photo of #GannonStauch. The DNA taken off the trigger guard and backstrap matched #LeteciaStauch as well as two other men.
Sgt. Hubbell said the examiner believed the bullets had come from the gun that was in the master bedroom. Remember 3 bullets were recovered: 1 in #GannonStauch skull and two inside the pillow.
Corner of the carpet in Gannon's room was exposed to see if there was a saturation. A stain went through the carpet, through the foam and onto the cement. DNA was swabbed and matched #GannonStauch. His bed was removed that covered the stain.
The carpet was stiff to the touch like it had been cleaned up. We are seeing a photo of #GannonStauch bedroom with the bed removed. There are pieces of tap covering the wall to show blood splatter marks, according to Sgt. Hubbell. There is also a stain on the mattress.
The outlet next to #GannonStauch bed also had blood evidence on the it and matched Gannon. Sgt. Hubbell said they got positive hits for blood in the garage, laundry room, stairs to the basement, family room in the basement, storage room, and then towards Gannon room.

Sgt. Hubbell became involved in the case on Jan. 28 when Fountain PD asked if they needed assistance. He confirms this missing person report evolved into a homicide investigation. #LeteciaStauch phone had photos of #GannonStauch in bed. Exhibit 29-39
On Jan. 27 at 8:14 a.m. the photo shows #GannonStauch laying in bed (taken from bedroom entrance). At 8:17 a.m. another photo is shown of Gannon laying in bed from a different angle (foot of the bed). @FOX21News
THIRD WITNESS: Sgt. Patrick Younkin with @EPCSheriff was one of the first LE to respond to the call for service in regards to a runaway on Jan. 27 at 6:55 p.m. He searched the home for #GannonStauch
He first talked with #LeteciaStauch in the garage and then the first level of the home. We are now watching the body warn camera of Sgt. Younkin.
You can hear #LeteciaStauch talk with deputies as another deputy is searching the home. She is explaining #GannonStauch typical movements in a day. She said he was going to leave to go to a friends house to play video games but didn't know the exact time he left. @FOX21News
BACK FROM BREAK: Investigator Clark said that there was a warrant on the rental Nissan Altima. Also, #LeteciaStauch appeared on camera in an interview with @Spencer_WNews on Friday, January 31, 2020.
The GPS tracker on #LeteciaStauch Aunt's rental shows the car went back to the area in Douglas County after an interview with the local TV station. The car was visible when Stauch was on camera.
COMPARISON OF MAPS: Tuesday, Jan. 28 of #LeteciaStauch VW Tiguan and Friday, Jan. 31 of her aunt's rental Nissan on Hwy 105/Prarie park road. Inv. Clark said the Tiguan data is more detailed than the GPS tracker.
