It was amazing day, riding to Shankesville for a memorial ceremony, then to Cumberland MD.
Some of the group were assigned to stay in Cumberland. Some were assigned to ride on…
… but the bonus miles were worth it, even though my drivetrain but the dust. The old Cannondale was now a good frame.
We arrived at our lodging-Rocky Gap Resort! After dinner and the evening events, a large group collected in the bar.
As the evening grew late, and the bar cut off the lady buying everybody her special concoction, I struck up a conversation with the guys next to me. They were filming the ride for a movie!
After the ride, I stayed in contact with @mdy1 and @BecomeFilms as they brought @RecoveringVets to reality. I even caught up with @mdy1 in Trinidad CO for a film festival.
