Here I go again, being all tiresome, right Angela? @theJagmeetSingh - you will recieve a letter from me, and several other autistic people, parents of autistic children, and professionals urging you to examine ABA before listening to this open letter.

OAC has not been honest in this letter. Their leadership is primarily BCBAs who are members of @ONTABA1 - meaning that their livelihoods depend on funding ABA services, and keeping critisism of ABA to a minimum.
ONTABA is a part of ABAI, who have recently released a vague statement responding to the decades of abuse they have prepretrated against autistic people and disabled folks.
However, @ONTABA1 has never made any such statement, not even a vague one (!), addressing parents and autistic people's concerns and criticisms about ABA.
Despite their silence, they DO continue to push for more and more funding. Notice how OAC has used the term stakeholders in their letter, centering ABA professionals over autistic people.
