they don't teach money basics in school and i think that's appalling
like fam i don't need to know that sinθ/cosθ=tanθ but I DO need to know what the difference between an APR and an interest rate is but guess which one I was taught
why force children to learn differential equations that they will never use unless they go into a specific field of study instead of teaching them things that they need to know in everyday life like how the fuck debt/interest works
feeling particularly mad about it because my parents don't know this stuff and i had to learn it by myself by looking it up on fucking youtube and it's hard to get started when you don't exactly know where the starting point even *is*
but i have found this nice channel on yt and they have very simple videos on money basics so if anyone out there is struggling, go take a look (it's kind of US centric but i think a lot of things are still relevant) youtube.com/c/TwoCentsPBS/

Shuugo bursts into the prince’s room, only to find no prince in it. He hurries back out and runs into two guards, the very ones who were supposed to be with the prince at all times. “Where’s Prince Kuroo?”
They look chagrined. “We were searching for him ourselves, sir.”
Shuugo barely resists the urge to tear his hair out in frustration, and sighs. “Little chance of him still being in the palace, then. You go to the stables, and I’ll look in the gardens.”
BoKuroOi spectating as Daichi tries and fails to woo UshiKita
Daichi is really trying his best to be as unsubtle as possible but Ushijima and Kita are both dense as brick which is saying something because Daichi is pretty dense himself
Oikawa: so they're treating you like how you treated poor Yui in high school
Daichi: Can you PLEASE stop bringing that up i sent her an apology note and some tasty chocolate okay? Please don't remind me
