Wow. Trust a nutty Prof to ruin a perfectly good Sunday. Where do I even begin rebutting this BS. Like always, this is aimed towards our folk and not to brainwashed zombies with dubious erudition.

Hinduism or Sanatana Dharma is not a dogmatic set of practices to be headed
by a cult leader/prophet/messenger. You don't need prophets to tell the obvious, do you? Does science have a single unified source for all information? Is there a single hallowed, know-it-all personality in your field of study?
Dharma is nothing but the order of the universe.
Just like how quantifying the age of the universe now and the countless universes before this is superfluous, it is impossible to ascertain the antiquity of Dharma. Dhriyate va iti Dharma. That which holds or is firm is Dharma.
Our bodies are nothing but microcosms of this vast creation. The very meaning of life is Brahmaanda-Pindaanda samanvayam. This is what Yoga enables a person to do. Western practices of Yoga have stripped it of its Dharmic roots, but the fact remains that everything that happens
is in fact a Yogic practice. This reconciliation is the cornerstone for a jiva's progress to realize its true nature.
SD is the only philosophy that sees Divine expression in everything - animate/inanimate, conscious/subconscious, physical/metaphysical, esoteric/mundane.
Sastras in fact say,
Deho devalaya prokta: jivao devasssanatanah. The body is a temple and the jiva represents the eternal Brahman.
Can any other philosophy past, present, or future even conceive such a thought let alone recognize the one that actually does?
Krishna says in the Gita,
Rasoham apsu kaunteya prabhashmi sasi suryayo: |
Pranava: sarva vedesu sabda: khe paurusam nrsu ||

O son of Kunti! I am the taste of water, the light of the sun and the moon, the syllable Om in the Vedic mantras, the sound in ether, and ability in man.
He further goes on to say,
Punyo ganda: pruthivyam cha tejas chasmi vibhavasau |
Jivanam sarva bhuteshu tapas chasmi tapasvisu ||
I am the original fragrance of the earth, and I am the heat in fire. I am the life of all that lives, and I am the penances of all ascetics.
Therefore, everything is an expression of that Absolute Truth. The ill-informed Prof draws a parallel between Vedic scriptures and others. This is pitiable at best and laughable at worse. There is no other original thought apart from Vedas since they are a form of Brahman itself
Purusha Suktam says Naanya pantha ayanaya vidhyate. There is no other path than Him. That means He only is the repository of all knowledge. The corollary is, all knowledge is only meant to know Him. Knowledge is denoted by the root Vid from which the word Veda is derived.
Since He is all knowledge, and knowledge is ultimately His form, it is also as wholesome as Him. And it is from this knowledge that our Itihasas, Puranas, Upanishads, and other allied Sastras have sprung, so they are also equally wholesome just like how Isavasya Upanishad says
Purnamadham purnamidham purnaat purnamudachyate. This means the Ramayana and Mahabharata et. al are also on the same pedestal as the Veda and seek to convey the same message in a more accessible form. That's why it is said,
Vedavedye parepumsi jaathe Dasharataatmaje |
Veda: Praachetasaadaaseeth saakshaad Ramayanamatmana: ||
Just like how the Parama Purusha, Who is known only through the Veda appeared as the son of Dasharatha, the Vedas themselves have incarnated as the Ramayana through Valmiki.
Similarly, the Mahabharata is regarded as the Panchama Veda itself. All and sundry in the created multiverse can be ultimately grouped under three Purushartas - Dharma, Artha, and Kama upon fulfilling which, one gets Moksha. Vyasa Himself says about the Mahabharata,
Dharmecha artecha kaamecha mokshecha Bharatarshabha |
Yadi hasti tadanyantra yanne hasti natat kvachit ||
Whatever is there in the Mahabharata is everywhere, whatever is not there here is not available anywhere else.
Since she's so desirous of having a prophetic revelation, if there's anyone who can be considered so for SD, it is Vyasa. All sects and Vedanta margas ultimately refer back to Vyasa alone. It is even said, Vyaasocchistham jagat sarvam. The world is nothing but a spit of Vyasa.
No other philosophy can even aspire to think of what God actually is. That's why they camouflage that thinking under dogmatic dictums and sinful notions, so that it is not questioned. However, Sanatana Dharma has provided an irrefutable envisioning of Who the Creator is.
Vedam says, Yato va imani bhutani jayante. yena jatani jivanti. Yatprayantyabhisan vishanti tadvijijnasasva tad brahmeti |
From Whom everything has sprung, in Whom they live, and ultimately in Whom they re-enter, know that to be Brahman.
Gajendra Moksham also says the same thing
Yasmin idam yethaschedam ye nedam ya idam swayam |
Yo asmat paramaascha parastham prapadhye Swayambhuvam ||
I surrender to the self-emanating, self-sufficient Paramatma is One in Whom everything rests, One by which everything is made, One Who is the only cosmic reason, One Who
is above cause and result. Pothana writes this beautifully in the Telugu Bhagavatam, which is known to almost every Telugu speaking person
Evvaniche janinchu jagamevvani lopala nunduu leenamai
Evvani yandu dindu Parameswarudevvadu? Mula kaaranambevvadu?
Aadi madhyaanlayudevvadu?
Sarvamu taaneyaina vaadevvadu?
Vaani aatma bhavun Iswaru ne Saranambu vededan 🙏🏻
She claims Sanghis are defining what Hinduism is. Lol what is to define something that is beyond thought, action, and speech?
For a self-proclaimed multicultural enthusiast, @SoniaSikka4 only seems to be aware of a few keywords like RSS, Sanghi, Brahmanism, Manusmriti, and caste. Wonder what multiculturism she is preaching to her students?
Burning of women on the pretext of witchcraft in medieval England? Teutonic subjugation of Pagan natives of Eastern Europe? Numerous inquisitions and crusades to satisfy lust and greed? Suppression of scientific enquiry by the Church? Caste discrimination even among neo-converts?
Massacres of so-called heretics? Breaking of idols in pre-Islamic Arabia? Blatant portrayal of native worship as Satanic? No condemnation of mass executions during the holocaust? Appropriation of local customs and fooling gullible people?
Need I even mention about modern day malice? Abrahamic religions have sown the seeds for discord and disingenuity ever since the beginning of Kali Yuga since they focus only on Artha and Kaama without adherence to Dharma.
However, the time has come for the world to realize the greatness of SD on a much larger scale. Soon, there will be a new world order that will draw inspiration from towards Bharata and its infinite wisdom. No matter how much people keep braying under the auspices of academia,
there is nothing that can stop the ensuing juggernaut (which is incidentally derived from Jagannath) of Vaidika wisdom from re-ascertaining itself in ways that were previously inconceivable.

Sri Gurubhyo Nama:
Aum Gam Ganapathaye Nama:
Vinayaka Chaturthi wishes to all. While all Chaturthi thithis are significant, this Bhaadrapada/Aavani Shukla Paksha Chaturthi is specifically known as Varadaa Chaturthi. Worshipping Ganesha on this day can confer iha and para sukhas.
Jnaatva kurvita karmani. Knowing the raison d'etre behind each Naama and method of worship gives a higher sense of fulfilment. Therefore, let's attempt to understand a tiny drop of Ganapati tatvam on this auspicious occasion with His grace and also by the grace of Gurus.
Sanatana Dharma is the only philosophy in the world that can envision Paramatma who is, in reality, guna-ateeta, avastha-ateetha, kaala-ateetha, and deha-ateetha in a myriad of forms. Vedam recognizes Ganapati as one of the 6 forms of Brahman. That's why we have shan-mathas

Seriyana loosu. This is why I said Eelam activists are better off doing kuthu rap instead of worrying about whether Shiva is Vedic or not. Then these same people say Om Namah Shivaya. Adding Om and Nama: automatically makes it a mantra.

**Long thread alert**
Mantras are only found in Vedas, not in the common tongue. Anyways, her perspectives matter zilch. What is more alarming is how a proper Thirumurai vakyam such as Anbe Sivam is being twisted and appropriated for nefarious agendas and how SM is brazenly peddling the same nonsense.

This reminds me of this wonderful shloka by Leelashuka in the Sri Krishna Karnaamrutam

Yadromarandra paripoorthi vidhou adakshaa
Vaaraaha janmani bhabhuvu: amee samudraa: |
Tam naama naatham aravindha drsham Yashoda
Paanidwaya antara jalai: snapayaam bhabhoova ||
When this same Child took the form of Adi Varaaha, waters in all the oceans put together failed to fully drench His hair follicles. But now, Yashoda is able to bathe the Lotus-eyed One with with just two handfuls of water.
It is interesting that Leelashuka drew a parallel with Varaaha avatar here. Even Adi Shankara in His magnus opus Soundaryalahiri says, Nimadhanam damshtra muraripu Varaahasya bhavati.
Oh Mother, the dust of Your Feet can redeem people from this sea of samsara

The toddler Krishna seems resplendent with the waist girdle studded with jewels and bells. The baby is not walking straight but is taking curvy steps that seem like a graceful dance.

I meditate upon that Gopala, who is served by my Manas and whose Feet I always contemplate upon
In this description of Bala Krishna by Annamacharya, Krishna looks very radiant and innocent. Is this His own self-effulgence that shines alone even after all creation ceases, or is this due to the jewel-studded waist girdle that Mother Yashoda lovingly adorned Him with?

The problem with some people is that they put DPs and banner pics of Gods but dont even attempt to understand what they said in the first place.

Now listen.

1. Your claim is baseless.
2. There are only four Varnas in SD. There's nothing called Dalit in Sastras.
Only those born in paaramparya Archaka families can even think of going inside the sanctum and officiating duties. In some sampradayas, this initiation begins right from the time the child is in the womb itself. Other Brahmins, & many times even Mathadipathis, do not have access
You talk of birth-based caste system. From a Vedantic perspective, everyone is a born Shudra. In Chandogya, there is a line in which Rishi Raikva addresses the king Jaanasruti as a Shudra. Both Sri Shankara and Sri Ramanuja have commented here that the word Shudra refers to

Semi-literate fool. The sanctum sanctorum of a temple is called a garbhalayam coz it's as sacred as a mother's womb. Don't we protect the womb carefully throughout pregnancy? Then what to say of the aalayam that holds the very Hiranyagarbha who is both the kshetra and kshetragna?
Krishna says in the Gita,
Mama yonirmahad Brahma tasmin garbham dadamyaham |
Sambhava sarvabhutaanam tatho bhavati Bhaarata ||

Oh scion of Bharata, I impregnate the reality of Brahman with my seed from which this entire Prakruti manifests.
The same thing was experienced first hand by Markandeya as well when He saw Krishna as Vatapatra Saayi. Bhagavatam says
Taavacchishorvai shvasitena Bhaargava:
Sa: antha: shareeram mashako yathaavishat |
Tatraapi adho nyastham achasta krtnsnasho
