There is nothing in recent grindadráp records that matches this. The closest we could find is 430 white-sided dolphins butchered on 13-08-2013 in Hvalba facebook.com/watch/?v=10459…

The reckless, idiotic, irresponsible Faroe Islanders wiped out a superpod of 1428 white-sided dolphins in the hunt last night.

If Denmark and the EU don't act after this then they're complicit in the unsustainable massacre of protected species. @Tinganes

Some people in the Faroe Islands are calling yesterday's reprehensible hunt of 1428 white-sided dolphins 'the biggest grindadráp in history'. If correct that is truly appalling as the records date back to 1584.
