🎙| Koeman: “Bayern Munich have a great team that is experienced and it will be a tough match. We know that Bayern is a great team, with high individual qualities, but we want to compete in the UCL and play at home. We will try to get a good result to start the tournament.”
🎙| Koeman: “We made changes in the team and needed time, but football doesn’t give you time. It’s a fun game and we can draw good conclusions from.”
🎙| Koeman: “My relationship with Laporta is excellent. There were little things we talked about, but we all want the best for the club. The club is the most important thing.”
🎙| Koeman: “The 8-2 was two seasons ago. The players suffered a lot that night. We need to prepare well for the game and be strong as a team. The team is very good physically and we are ready for the game. We can hurt Bayern.”
🎙| Koeman: “I can not answer if we are candidates for the Champions League. Tomorrow we will play against a team that strives for everything. We have to defend well and look for the spaces.”
🎙| Koeman: “I am a coach who gives opportunities to young players and that is what needs to be understood. I do not know if another coach would do it like me. We improve things and one of them is the opportunities I give to young people because they are the future of the club.”
🎙| Koeman: “It’s not true that there are conditions for extending my contract and I do not want to talk about it anymore. That is not the point at the moment. Tomorrow’s game is more important than my future.”
🎙| Koeman: “Bayern are a great team, with very experienced players, but we have high expectations. We play at home and want to get a good result.”
🎙| Koeman: “We have made big changes in the team and we need time, but football does not allow you time.”
🎙| Koeman: “If we lose balls in dangerous areas, they will hit us because they are very fast and deadly. We have to move the ball well from behind, go forward and try to take advantage of the areas.”
🎙| Koeman: “Coutinho is getting better every day, what he needs now is to get minutes in the game and take the next step to be with us. Luuk de Jong is also well prepared physically.”
