Why can’t we find a happy medium between playing dead (@theDemocrats) and insurrection (@GOP)? This is from a piece I am writing about the 2020 election. 1/
Cartoon 2 by @EdWexler. 2/
4/ Florida House 26
5/ Florida House 27
6/ North Carolina senate
7/ Montana senate
8/ Maine senate.
9/ Note. Here is a summary of KY & SC senate races: Although heavily red shifted, exit polls predicted strong GOP victories. If internal polling also predicted this, it explains why the Ds didn’t challenge these two outcomes.

13/ To clarify, I’m not saying “both sides” do the same thing; I’m saying they do the opposite thing. Nor am I saying they are equally bad. The #GOP engages in domestic terrorism; my party, the Democratic Party, at least aspires to the greater good. I want them to do more…
… to protect the greater good. IMO, this requires more scrutiny of the GOP than they currently provide. 14/
Democrats should heed this advice. 15/
The GOP should heed this advice. 16/

Um, why did Trump’s Federal Reserve give an obscenely disproportionately large coronavirus stimulus loan to a PA casino owned by DeNaples w/ ties to the Bufalino crime family?! What did Trump want in exchange? (Recall that PA is a crucial swing state.) 1/ reuters.com/article/usa-fe… Image
3/ Per Reuters, the loan was made during the week that ended August 5, 2020.

Remember? Do not underestimate Steve Bannon. It’s not that he’s so extraordinary generally. It’s that he’s extraordinarily evil AND deeply connected both politically and financially. 1/
This was RT’d by Alexandra Preate, Bannon’s press Secretary in PA. Her dad, Ernie Preate, is a convicted felon & frequent guest on Bannon’s podcast. He’s an attorney & is defending Frank Scavo who organized buses to the insurrection & posted incriminating messages to his FB. 2/ Image
3/ Was was Farage in PA (the Preates’ stomping ground) on Election Day?

.@GaSecofState is casting stones at @staceyabrams from a glass house. Georgia’s e-pollbooks were supplied by KNOWiNK, whose founder & CEO, Scott Leiendecker, is a former GOP election official whose wife donated $2,500 to his campaign in 2018. 1/ Image
I wrote about Knowink here. 2/ nybooks.com/daily/2020/10/… Image
Plus, isn’t Georgia’s election center run from within his office now? @MarilynRMarks1 3/

Chris Wray & Kavanaugh both worked 4 the Bush WH when it was was hiding its emails on that private server hosted by Smartech (which also, bizarrely, received Ohio’s 2004 returns b4 they were posted). Russia hacked Smartech in 2015, but Comey pretended it was no big deal. @RWPUSA
Here’s a piece by @leannewattphd & @RWPUSA re: Russia’s hacking of Smartech. 1/ link.medium.com/rfL9y8wwAjb
I’ve written about and discussed the hacking of Smartech many times. Many people may be compromised because of it. 2/

FBI Director Chris Wray hid Russia’s breach of Florida voter registration systems, even from Florida election officials, even as then Senator Bill Nelson tried to sound the alarm b4 the 2018 midterm election. What else did he cover up? #FireChrisWray 1/ link.medium.com/FAICXBrkAjb ImageImage
