So this morning @mailchimp decided to suspend my account by saying that I violated their “Acceptable Use Policy”. In which way they don't say. I contacted support to no avail.

I spoke with someone through chat and he said I had to wait for an email response: the only way to contact the Compliance team.
Of course I've read at least four times their TOS and it should be obvious I haven't done a single thing that should amount to a suspension.

While platforms like @SubstackInc and @revue are fostering the creator economy, big players like @Mailchimp are deriding their users through automated suspensions like this one with no clear reasons and absolutely no support.
I run a 15k subscriber weekly newsletter about philosophy, science, literature and history. I don't sell anything. I don't even use images because of their copyright.
Any human that takes a look at my use of the platform could see this in an instant.

At the very least when @Mailchimp 's oh-so-powerful AI called Omnivore decides to suspend your life's work it should give an exact reason, a warning and a way to solve it.
I can still remember when @Mailchimp was lauded for their magnificent UX and their lovely copywriting. They even wrote about it.

If I don't regain my account a great deal of my work, stats and time will be irremediably lost.

Once your trust in a platform is broken, when you feel in your bones that everything you've built can be unilaterally lost because of an automated decision by a company that doesn’t care for its paid users, there's no going back.
