The distribution of food or other supplies to people in need.
Health or social services provided to people in

Swimming pools, unless the location of an event.
Skating rinks when not being used for adult sport.
Fitness facilities which are part of a hotel or similar establishment.
Rehabilitation or exercise therapy programs. #bcpoli
Worship services.
Health care related events, including immunization clinics, COVID-19 testing centres and blood donation clinics.
Drug and alcohol support group meetings. #bcpoli
Court sittings wherever they occur.
Workers at a workplace when engaged in their work
activities, including staff meetings.

Before or after school programs for students of public or independent schools.
Educational activities for students of schools or post-secondary institutions.
Teachers or instructors at a school or a postsecondary educational institution when engaged in educational activities.
Language courses.
Employment related training.
The use of any place for local, provincial or federal government purposes.

NEW - The BC government is announcing $6.4 million to recruit and retain health care workers in Northern BC. The province launching a new program funded directly by the province and not Norther Health. #bcpoli
NEW - British Columbia will turn 24 ambulance stations from on call to 24 hour service. This will benefit Fernie, Burns Lake, Vanderhoof, Lake Country and many other communities. #bcpoli
This will mean higher and more consistent pay for Emergency Health Service workers. #bcpoli
As of today 85.8% (3,978,624) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 78.4% (3,632,547) received their second dose. #bcpoli
Over a three-day period, B.C. is reporting 1,984 new cases of COVID-19, for a total of 175,142 cases in the province:
* Sept. 10-11: 823 new cases
* Sept. 11-12: 641 new cases

There are 5,825 active cases of COVID-19 in the province and 167,078 people who tested positive have recovered. 278 individuals are in hospital and 139 are in intensive care. #bcpoli

NEW - British Columbia will be requiring proof of vaccination for people attending certain social and recreational settings and events. As of September 13, one dose of vaccine will be required for entry to these settings. #bcpoli
By October 24, entry to these settings will require people to be fully vaccinated at least seven days after receiving both doses. #bcpoli
