For the Hill obsessed: this thread will run down all of Mideast-related amdts to the House FY22 NDAA posted on the Rules website as of 4:25pm on 9/15) (deadline was yesterday but amdts keep rolling in).

It’s a long thread (for which you should blame Congress, not me).
Category 1: Israel-related amendments
Amdt. 110: Offered by Biggs (R-AZ), “Expresses a sense of Congress about the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship.”

amendments-rules.house.gov/amendments/BIG…

amendments-rules.house.gov/amendments/ARG FINAL US-Israel Cyber Cooperation Act210913183150768.pdf
BTW, that last one is the NDAA amdt version of Langevin’s bill HR 2659 - congress.gov/bill/117th-con…
Amdt. 203: Offered by Perry (R-PA), “Prohibits funding to any organization or any country that has labelled Israel as an ‘apartheid’ state.”

Okay - it is clear that the weird formatting of these links on the Rules committee website is incompatible with Twitter. So I’m not going to include individual links. You can use the Amdt #s to find text for any of these here:

Just to be clear: this is a US senator doubling down on the claim that criticizing aid to Israel - and daring to suggest the funds could be better spent elsewhere on US domestic needs - is ipso facto antisemitic.
Great example of key rule for weaponizing antisemitism against critics of Israel:

—> It’s antisemitism when critics of Israel conflate Israel & Jews;

&

—> It’s antisemitism when critics of Israel don’t conflate Israel & Jews, cuz criticizing Israel=criticizing Jews,

Get it?

““I must confess that over the last few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom…”

2/
“…is not the White Citizens Councillor or the Ku Klux Klanner but the white moderate who is more devoted to order than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice;…”
