MY PIPES ARE ACTUALLY FINE AND THE PLUMBER FROM YESTERDAY WASNT EVEN LICENSED.

No joke, the plumbing shop I called to give me a second opinion is so mad that the man called the plumber from yesterday in front of me and told him he was filing a complaint with the plumbers board.

Like they rolled in 45 minutes after arriving and said "Your pipes are fine and they are working now," and I looked at them with such shock that they were like "Did someone tell you your pipes weren't working?" and then I showed them a bill for almost 20 thousand dollars.

And then the guy made me pull up the Texas plumbers board website and type the guys number from his card in, and he wasn't there. And then they sat there and looked at the quote together, and then they decided they were not going to let this stand.

So, Jose and Derrick at Casa View Plumbing are fucking amazing, and literally anyone affiliated with RC Pros is ABSOLUTELY NOT. "DFW's Leading Sewer and Drain Specialist" my whole ass thank you very much.

Jose and Derrick were like "do you know how to file a complaint, you should file one, too."

YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT CUSTOMER, JOSE AND DERRICK.

They told me that I probably did need to do some work, piecemeal, over the next five years and I asked how much I should budget and he said, "First, get a plumber boyfriend. Then, do it." Noted.

Going from feeling like your house might, at any time, fall out from beneath you into a pool of sewage to knowing that my house is fine and well built is just a HELL OF A 48 HOUR PERIOD GUYS.

Listen I realize the boyfriend thing seems like a low budget pick up line but let me tell you, that was actually his advice. Like none of my problems are big enough that I should consider even budgeting for them, I should just have a random guy replace some pipes.

Shout out to Derrick, who got his plumbers license out and made me hold it and examine it so that I could demand licenses for any future plumbers I might use and know if they are fake.

And shout out to Jose who, after noting how long it took him to become licensed, yelled "YOU KNOW THIS REALLY CHAPS MY ASS" about the whole debacle.

And it chaps my ass too, because that fucker saw a single, young woman with a plumbing problem and fucking went for the sale and that is some predatory behavior, and caused me actual, intense financial anxiety for two days.

My problem was fixed by paying Jose and Derick $295.

And people (me, for ex) who know nothing about plumbing find these gigantic companies with quick booking so great because they are *easy* and they *sound* knowledgable, and then they slap you with these bills and it turns out the guy they sent is a camera tech and not a plumber.

Like a man who knows how to run a camera line down my pipes is not in any way capable of telling me that literally every pipe in my house must be urgently replaced, but he did. He said that to me, and I had no idea to even ask if he was a licensed plumber. I just assumed.

Anyway, file this away in your bank of homeowner tips. Learn from my anxieties. Call Jose and Derrick.

My brother (who is in the pipefitters union) had his journeyman come and inspect to make absolutely sure my anxieties were not warranted and he has now confirmed MY HOUSE IS FINE.

I am so MAD AT THESE SCAMMY PEOPLE.
