(🔐) BREAKING NEWS: A Secretive Meeting That Trump Attended in December of 2020 May Explain Both Trump's Role in the January 6 Insurrection and Why General Milley and China Feared Trump Would Start a War

I hope you'll subscribe, read, and share this news. sethabramson.substack.com/p/breaking-new…
1/ Donald Trump's domestic insurgency has changed *profoundly* in the last 48 hours. The reason that "Treason" keeps trending on Twitter is because the Trumpists now believe that they have proof of a "deep state" anti-Trump conspiracy *and* collusion with China by Trump critics.
2/ There's no limit to what the Trumpists think this new information will allow them to do. They plan to use General Mark Milley as a scapegoat for almost everything that happened following the November 2020 presidential election. His testimony on September 28 will be a sh*tshow.
3/ The problem, of course, is that everyone forgets *why* China and the Pentagon feared Trump would try to stay in office by launching a military strike against Beijing.

And the reason everyone forgets this is that media never informed news consumers about what the "Kraken" was.
4/ Trump's legal team, Team Kraken, Stop the Steal, Trump's "war room" participants (and their domestic-extremist guards) and Trump's QAnon-influenced outside advisory corps had all—by late December 2020—adopted the "Kraken" conspiracy theory, and were advising Trump based on it.
5/ The "Kraken" theory held that four communist/former communist governments—China, Russia, North Korea, and Venezuela—had, with Trump enemy Iran, conspired with the Democratic Party to stage a coup of the Trump administration and overthrow American democracy.

*Read that twice*.
6/ Chinese intelligence spent December 2020 and early January 2021—it now appears based on major-media reporting—looking for *every possible indication* that those who believed China had declared cyberwar on the U.S. in November 2020 had Trump's ear. Of particular significance...
7/ ...was any indication that the domestic militants looking to overturn the (supposedly Chinese Communist Party–enabled) 2020 presidential election had access to then-President Trump's thinking and strategics.

So Michael Lindell and Stop the Steal would have been a major focus.
8/ As PROOF previously reported (🔐), Lindell, who funded much of the Stop the Steal movement, spent the days before January 6 not just with Team Kraken (the driver behind Trump's anti-China conspiracy-theorizing) but a Chinese dissident named Joseph Lam. sethabramson.substack.com/p/breaking-new…
9/ Meanwhile Stop the Steal's Ali Alexander—who was getting funding from Lindell—kept doing interviews with NTD, a channel run by Falun Gong, which the Chinese government considers an existential threat. Falun Gong and its operations are closely monitored by Chinese intelligence.
10/ So this article describes a December 27 meeting that Ali Alexander was either present at—with Trump—or was able to learn about, despite it being secretive, almost immediately after it occurred. That would've sent off alarm bells in Beijing...when Alexander revealed it to NTD.
11/ Many Americans who recognize that Trump is a clear and present danger to the United States—and *was* in January 2021—nevertheless find General Milley's actions inexplicable because they simply *do not understand* how worried the Pentagon was about a war with China in January.
12/ Just so, there's been almost no clear reporting, until now, on why *Beijing* would have reasonably apprehended that Trump might try to stay in office by launching a military strike against China and claiming that it and the Democrats had colluded to steal the 2020 election.
13/ Why was Michael Lindell meeting with Chinese dissidents? Why was Ali Alexander giving interviews to Falun Gong? Why was Powell accusing China of declaring war on America and then storming into the Oval Office on December 18 to try to get special presidentially granted powers?
14/ In short, tracing the activities of a small group of men and women looking to pin Trump's election loss on China underscores precisely *why* a military strike on China in January 2021—which could have led to a nuclear war—seemed possible to *both* China *and* the Pentagon.
15/ Any strike by Trump against China would've been part of a *Trumpist coup*—meaning, the attack itself would be illegal not merely on the basis of being a war crime, but literally being *part of* a refusal by Trump to vacate the White House. Every American must understand this.
16/ But it's more than this: Stone, Alexander, Jones, and Lindell—four of the people focused on in the article above, the first three of whom led the Stop the Steal "movement"—*specifically* couched their post-election activities as a lead-up to a religious war against communism.
17/ They made clear that the religious "war" they sought was "global"—they used that word over and over again. They made clear that the fight between "good and evil, light and darkness" (a repeated refrain) would *not* be limited to the United States.

It would envelop the world.
18/ Not just Chinese intelligence but *any* intel agency—anywhere in the world—would've spent December 2020 and January 2021 trying to understand *how close* to Trump these maniacs were. Was he more swayed by them than his generals, with whom he had long had a testy relationship?
19/ The December 27 event I describe in this article helped establish that those around Trump claiming they wanted to wage a "global" "war" on communism—men meeting with Chinese dissidents in public—indeed had access to Trump's strategies and thinking. It created a danger of war.
20/ Hopefully this gives folks enough background for the article above, which is long and complex. But we need to understand this *before* September 28. The insurrectionists will try to use Milley as a cause célèbre. But it's a lie—and they mustn't be allowed to get away with it.

Amazed I hadn't seen this before.

I was thinking a lot today about how rarely those who work in public-facing spheres think about what they actually hope to accomplish that's special and meaningful for others and that they're uniquely capable of offering.
Many in public-facing spheres look at what they think worked in the *past* in trying to appeal to people *now*.

They're not perpetually renewing the question of what *special* contribution a) folks would be gleefully surprised to encounter that b) a new voice can uniquely offer.
The reason Trump only lost the popular vote by millions in 2016 rather than the tens of millions he should've is because he was a novelty. These sad Trumpists trying to ape him are pathetic—and don't have a clue what they're trying to accomplish or who they could do anything for.

So is what we learned in California tonight that Republicans running on an ANTI-VAX / PRO-VIRUS platform might *not* be the winner absolutely no one thought it was?
PS/ To be clear, I do agree that to the extent Trumpist Republicans can *hide* the fact that they're sleazy seditious death merchants, they *can* still win elections. I'm saying that as long as voters receive the intel that Trumpists are selling DEATH and INSURRECTION, they lose.
PS2/ Larry Elder had neither the ability nor inclination to hide that he's a sleazy seditious death merchant, so he lost. Yes—California. But at this point the loss looks to be 30+ points.

I think if Trumpists fail to cloak their intent elsewhere, they'll lose, if more narrowly.

Wow. I thought it was bad that WATA failed to clean or reject a severely damaged game and refused to note the damage on its label—and that Heritage Auctions then gave no notice of the damage to buyers—but the guy discussed here got it even worse from WATA.
(PS) The TLDR version of this is that a guy sent a $10,000 item to a company to grade it, and the company appears to have damaged, lost, then *desecrated* the item. It took no responsibility for its actions and took weeks to even respond to the poor guy.

WATA critics were right.
(PS2) WATA has the potential to do good work—but apparently not under its current management. After an ethics scandal, a market manipulation scandal, a self-dealing scandal, the refusal to issue population reports, and now these 2 incidents, why hasn't a change been made at WATA?

(🔐) NEW from PROOF GAMES: Fall 2021 Sales Data for Sealed and Graded Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Games

Just want to remind those who subscribe to a substack: if a substack you subscribe to has multiple sections dealing with different topics, you can decide which sections to get emails from in your account settings. If you’re getting emails you don’t want, just change the settings.
Every time I write about anything besides politics, I lose subscribers and get messages expressing confusion. I've done all I can to let readers know how sections work, but I think at this point @SubstackInc needs to step in and email all its users. I can't do QC for the company.

Just so everyone knows what a "9.2/B+" from WATA looks like, I got this in the mail from Heritage Auctions today:
(PS) In case you're wondering, I got the game because Marble Madness has some sentimental value for me. A copy of it with poop or mold or soda stains on it...? Not so much.
(PS2) Here's how the auction house displayed the game, so it wouldn't be clear that there was a problem:
