Sri VAMANA Jayanti (17.09.2021) VamAna-Avatara cHintana-Bhadrapada Sukla Dwadasi is reckoned as Dadhi Vamana Jayanti. Sri Vamana avatara took place on Dwadasi day in the constellation of SRavana - Lord Vishnu is star Deity of Sravana nakshatra & presiding Deity for Dwadasi thithi
Dadhi (curd) daana should be made on the day of Bhadrapada Sukla Dwwadasi; 🙏 Dadhi Priyo Devata is Vamana 🙏
Apart from in DasaAvathra we come across all the three names of VaAmana (Thrivikrama, Vamana and Upendra) in Chaturvimshati Kesavaadi vYuHa ruupas’of Lord Vishnu with interchange in holding of Ayudhas;
Generally, we find Lord Ganesha depicted as a dwarf and fatty figure with pot belly, elephant head, large ears, small eyes, long nose, mouse as vehicle etc.
contd...
From an artistic angle this figure is most enchanting and blissful. But, behind this artistic symbolism hidden is, a philosophy, a moral, a management principle and a lesson for every body to learn in life. contd...
> Big Head: Simple living and high thinking. It depicts the wisdom, knowledge (intelligence), discrimination, clear planning, and foresightedness which are very much the principles of management.
Anusandhana for worshiping Lord Ganesha.....
Sri GanapatiAntargatha
BharatiramanaMukhyaPranaAntargatha
Sri ViswaroopaViswambharayaNamaha;
Lord Ganesha's worship/anugraha/blessings are very much required to mitigate Vipareeta JnyaAna and to know/learn yathaArtha jnyaAna ie., "Hari SArvottama-Vaayu Jeevottama"
To get rid of vaKra buddHi (purverted intelligence); to have discriminative intelligence one should worship, have वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय anugraha, it is very much required; Lord of Vignas (obstacles), Lord Ganesha is controller of obstacles & destroyer of miseries of his devotees.
