If you're in a hurry, back in the 80s some quack decided to conduct a "study" on a handful of kids whose parents were worried they weren't 100% conforming to every gender stereotype so he took a headcount and then years later tried to track them all down and went "well 3 of the 4
I could find again grew up straight so I guess that's the ratio" (I'm slightly exaggerating the numbers but again, if you want accuracy here's a whole thread diving in).
Years later bigots started claiming this half-assed study "proved most trans kids magically turn cis later!"
