If your pregnant, avoid the following drugs as they can cause miscarriage or fetal harm

1. Tetracycline
2. Chloramphenicol
3. Isotretinoin (Amnesteem, Cosmin)
4. Trimethoprim and Erythromycin
5. Ibuprofen
5. Streptomycin
6. Arthrotect
7. Ciprofloxacin
8. Albendazole 👇🏿

14. Fluconazole

Fluconazole can only be used during pregnancy in the instance of life threatening fungal infection where the anticipated benefits outweighs the risk if not an alternative should be used as it may harm the baby or cause spontaneous abortion.

You are not to use streptomycin if you are pregnant as it can cause hearing loss in babies born to women who use the drug during pregnancy.

Albendazole is a drug for treating infections caused by worms. It is an anthelminthic. It should not be used during pregnancy as animal studies indicates it can cause fetal harm when used by pregnant women. Talk to ur doctor immediately if you suspect u got pregnant while on it.

Ciprofloxacin is not be used by pregnant women as it can affect the bone developments of their babies, cause joint pains to them or increase the chances of having a miscarriage.

Ibuprofen should not be used by pregnant women as it can delay the onset of labour and increase risks of bleeding for both the mother and baby.

Isotretinoin (Amnesteem, Cosmin) is used for treating acne, it shouldn’t be used by pregnant women as it increases the risks of congenital malformations.

Being pregnant is a very delicate situation, you should be careful about anything you take especially drugs, it’s not just you, even the life and wellbeing of your baby is at stake here.

Always consult your healthcare provider before taking any medication and talk to them about the medications you use already. It is very important.

Just a simple reminder;

1. Don’t use alcohol of any kind to take your drugs.
2. Don’t use fruit juice to take your drugs.
3. Don’t use soda drinks to take your drugs.
4. Don’t wrap your drugs in hot eba or fufu to take it.
5. Don’t use milk to take your antibiotics.

If you have a recurrent yeast infection, this may be of help

1. Are you on long term use of antibiotics.
2. Do you douche the inside of your vagina.
3. Do you use antiseptic soaps on the vagina or the vaginal wash and the likes.
4. Check your blood sugar level
5. Eating right ?

The use of antibiotics especially long term use of broad spectrum antibiotics can predispose one to yeast infection or recurrent yeast infections, this is because antibiotics upsets the natural balance of the microflora by killing even the healthy bacteria in your vagina thereby-

-creating room for overgrowth of the bad ones (i.e overgrowth of yeast).

Marrying a virgin doesn’t guarantee you are marrying a good wife and it doesn’t guarantee she would be faithful. The fact that a girl is not a virgin doesn’t mean she wouldn’t make an exceptional wife. She might be the best thing that would ever happen to you.

This is not in anyway trying to paint anything in bad light or encourage anything. What i am trying to say is virginity doesn’t determine whether or not the girl you are marrying is good or not or going to make a good wife or not. It is not a determining factor.

Treat your wife right whether virgin or not. Treat her with love and respect.

1. Alabukun and coke is not a contraceptive.
2. Don’t take Ciprofloxacin with milk.
3. Don’t take your malaria drugs with vitamin C, oranges or blood tonic.
4. Don’t take ibuprofen, felvin or diclofenac on an empty stomach.
5. Ampiclox is not for washing and setting.

Ampiclox is not for washing and setting. It doesn’t wash and set your system. You don’t just go and buy Ampiclox and take it for “washing and setting”, that is antibiotics abuse it is wrong.

Ampiclox is an antibiotic which is used in the treatment of a number of infections, like infections of the respiratory tract, urinary tract and gastrointestinal tract amongst others.
