I don't want sociopaths in Indian Police to have more power over children than their parents themselves. This is not a radical position. "Child marriage should be banned" does not mean agreeing that Government should have more control over children than parents.

Claiming that children are "supreme national assets" and not "personal properties of parents" implies that Indian Police will have more control over children than parents since they will implement the law.
Do we really want a group that tolerates hafta wasooli to have that power?

Children do not have agency, therefore, they will always be someone's "personal property" (if we are inclined to put it that way). In that case, it is much better for them to be the personal properties of parents, who love them, than an impersonal entity such as the Indian State.

The Texas abortion laws are quite sane... But people active on social media in Indian political circles will pretend it is an apocalypse. India has very similar abortion laws as well.

Under Indian laws, women can get abortion for medical reasons omly till 6 months of pregnancy, that too, after opinions of 2 doctors iirc.

Just checked, failure of contraceptives is a valid reason for legal abortion in India. That is available to married couples. So yeah, India has pretty much legalised all kinds of abortion upto 6 months of pregnancy. I made a mistake i think, Texas laws are more restrictive.

Liberal media will form press groups that receive funds from US Government, European Union and then go on to claim that they are performing independent journalism.

The western media and the liberal media in India as well are not saying much about the Afghan children Joe Biden murdered because all of them are part of groups that receive huge funds from US Govt and EU.

The Wire received some award for god knows what from some group called International Press Institute. Look who the IPI's donors are hahahahaha. "Independent media" LMAO

I will share my opinion on the insurgency situation in the North East in 2021 sometime later

Okay, so, is there a serious insurgency threat in North East in 2021? Not really. Why? Because they are far too integrated into India than they were 30 years ago. Children of former insurgents study in Indian colleges. When they need treatment, they go to major cities.

The important thing to note here is that the insurgency was led and sustained by the elite section of these societies. But the elite section has now been integrated into the Indian Union. They sit in governments and hold political power. Why would they want an insurgency?
