This was an actual, no-bullshit plan from within the Oval Office to stage a coup of the American government and bring us under one-party dictatorial rule. We knew it, but to actually SEE it and understand how close to the brink we were (and still are) is.......indescribable.
This is sedition, pure and simple. John Eastman, Donald Trump, and everyone else involved need to be charged and hauled into court. Immediately. If we don't make an example now it's *going* to happen again, next time by someone more competent.
Trump was 100% involved and on-board.

@DrJohnEastman needs to be disbarred. Right fucking now. I can't believe what I just read.

The Afghanistan understander has logged on. This is pure bullshit. Almost every Afghan (or any other FN) working with coalition forces is extensively vetted, including polygraphs, call chain analysis against known extremists, and background checks.
Hell, interpreters are rigorously vetted long before being allowed to accompany US forces on patrol. We don’t just yank people off the street, hand them a badge and say “CONGRATULATIONS U R NOW WORK FOR UNITED STATES”.
For those individuals who ARE early in the SIV stages, they are taken to third party countries until the vetting process is complete. Period. I’m speaking as someone who’s been directly involved in these processes.

"John how could you say Trump and the GOP are a greater threat to America than 9/11 was?". Well, because I know what I'm talking about. But I realize that doesn't do much for the critically stupid, so let's address that and try to jolt those brain cells to life.
There is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that 9/11 was the worst terrorist attack in modern American, and indeed world, history. Before that, the worst was the Cinema Rex fire in Tehran, Iran in 1978 in which 422 people were killed.
But anyone trying to conflate the death toll of a singular act of terrorism with a broader threat to American democracy has literally no idea what they're talking about. Quite simply, AQ was

So, let's examine this through the lens of someone who actually knows what he's talking about. I've spoken at length before about terrorism and what it is/isn't. Not surprising that someone from The Blaze wouldn't know. So, let's go!
When we talk about "terrorism" we aren't talking about tossing a brick into a laundromat or punching someone. Terrorism encompasses things like kidnapping, hijackings, executions, hostage-taking, mass casualty events, etc to instill....y'know....terror.
While there isn't one globally-accepted definition of the word "terrorism", it's roundly accepted that it involves everything I just mentioned. Remember that, because we'll come back to it.
