This year marks the centenary of the Communist Party of China. It is also the 50th anniversary of the restoration of the lawful seat of the People’s Republic of China in the United Nations, a historic event which will be solemnly commemorated by China.
We will continue our active efforts to take China’s cooperation with the United Nations to a new level and make new and greater contributions to advancing the noble cause of the UN.
We must beat COVID-19&win this decisive fight crucial to the future of humanity. We should always put people&their lives first, take a science-based approach in origins tracing, enhance coordinated global COVID-19 response&minimize the risk of cross-border virus transmission.
We must revitalize economy&pursue more robust, greener&more balanced global development. Global Development Initiative:Stay committed to development as priority;people-centered approach;benefits for all;innovation-driven development;harmony btw man&nature;results-oriented actions.
We need to improve global environmental governance, actively respond to climate change&create a community of life for man&nature. We need to accelerate transition to a green&low-carbon economy&achieve green recovery&development.
China will strive to peak carbon dioxide emissions before 2030&achieve carbon neutrality before 2060.We'll make every effort to meet these goals.China will step up support for other developing countries in green&low-carbon energy&won't build new coal-fired power projects abroad.
We must strengthen solidarity&promote mutual respect&win-win cooperation in conducting international relations. We need to advocate peace, development, equity, justice, democracy&freedom, which are common values of humanity, &reject the practice of forming small circles/zero-sum games.
A world of peace&development should embrace civilizations of various forms, &must accommodate diverse paths to modernization. Democracy is not a special right reserved to an individual country, but a right for the people of all countries to enjoy.
There is only one int'l system, i.e. int'l system w/ the UN at its core. There is only one int'l order, i.e. int'l order underpinned by int'l law.&there is only one set of rules, i.e. basic norms governing int'l relations underpinned by purposes&principles of the UN Charter.
We must improve global governance&practice true multilateralism. The UN should hold high the banner of true multilateralism&serve as the central platform for countries to jointly safeguard universal security, share development achievements&chart the course for future of the world.

As 2 major oriental countries, China&India should avoid falling into the trap of outdated western thinking. Western mindset of power politics&law of the jungle runs counter to the trend of 21st century——peace, development&win-win cooperation. It gains no support from the peoples.
China&India should take the path of peaceful development to deliver a better life for our peoples, rather than repeat the mistake in history and choose a wrong path of confrontation and conflict between two major developing countries.

As the pandemic continues to ravage the world, winning the fight against COVID-19 is the urgent wish of people around the world. Vaccination is a powerful weapon against COVID-19, but vaccine nationalism still prevails.
Some countries are trying to blame others&engage in political manipulation, seriously undermining international solidarity in fight against virus.China will continue to support&participate in global scientific origins tracing&resolutely oppose any form of political manipulation.
