1. On an average, a person speaks words for a total of 10-11 minutes a day. However, we make and recognize about 25000 facial expressions daily.

2. People born blind can perform the same body language expression as people who can see.
3. As people grow old, they become more serious compared to their younger self.

- mouth cover
- nose touch
- incongruous nodding
- eye rub
- ear grab
- neck scratch
- collar pull
5. Finger pointing is the most offensive gesture.

6. The total impact of a message we share with others is about

- 7% the words we use,
- 38% the tone of voice
- 55% non verbal
7. When a woman is feeling uncomfortable, she will either clutch her bag tightly or places it in front of her to cover her body.

8. When a woman is attracted to a man, she will move her bag aside - she literally does not want anything in her way.
9. Both men and women find people with available(smiling, uncrossed arms/legs, not looking down) body language the most attractive.

10. Aligning your body more agreeable with a conversation partner helps solve tension in conversations and come to solutions more quickly.
11. The "hooding effect" Indicates territorial display. Interlaced hands behind the head indicates comfort and dominance.

12. A partial shoulder shrug indicates that the speaker is not committed to what was just said. A honest response causes both shoulders to rise fully.
13. Exhaling with puffed out cheeks is great way to release stress and to pacify.

14. In stressful situations, you will pacify yourself by crossing your arms and rubbing hands against your shoulders, in a self administered body hug.
15. Even when a person is standing still, his posture, how he stand, how he look tells a story.

16. People are perceived as more attractive when they tilt their heads.
