BREAKING NEWS: Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu begins the inspection of the Massive RED LINE RAIL PROJECT, Mr Governor starts with the ICONIC Ikeja Train Station. Serious Work is ONGOING there.
This is what IKEJA TRAIN STATION will look like by completion … This is where the FlagOff of this project was done in April 18, 2021 … and the project has moved massively since then, BUT Governor @jidesanwoolu says he wants it faster.
The IKEJA TRAIN STATION is going to be the Major Station for the #RedLine Rail Project … It’s a major infrastructure, the whole of Ikeja Local Government side, And back of computer village. 🚧 🚧
The IKEJA TRAIN STATION will change the entire Ikeja Neighbourhood, this Station will be an iconic Station for the Lagos State Government … It will complement the already existing Ikeja Bus Station.
UP NEXT: The Yaba Train Station, Governor @jidesanwoolu recently commissioned the Yaba Bus Station, this Yaba Train Station will also complement the Bus Station, meaning you can get down (overpass) from the train and take a bus and Vice-versa.
This part of the Yaba Bus Station and the Yaba Rail Station directly opposite the popular “Yaba left” will have a flyover that will lead directly to Tejuoso, meaning the train station, when completed will not affect vehicular movement into Tejuoso from Yaba.
This is what the Yaba Train Station will look like when completed, the White “canopy” part is the bus Station Governor @jidesanwoolu commissioned few months ago, the arrow shows the flyover that will lead to Tejuoso so that the train movement won’t affect vehicles.
The Piling works for the Flyover that will take people over the usual and very busy Tejuoso junction, facing Ojuelegba road, this will ensure that of train movement with vehicular movement does not affect each other.
Up Next: The OYINGBO TRAIN STATION… This Station will also be linked with the Oyingbo Bus Terminal exactly at Oyingbo bus stop, this Station is under the Red Line Rail project, the station is exactly beside the fire station at Oyingbo beside the Mainland LGA office.
OYINGBO will also have a Flyover that will lead to Apapa Road (Costain), This is why there is so much work going on at Muritala Muhammed Way by Denton Police Station, same reason; to separate train movements from vehicular movement for safety purposes.
OYINGBO TRAIN STATION: This is what Oyingbo Train Station will look like, when completed … The work is going on Steadily. 2nd picture shows how the Oyingbo Train Station will link to the current Oyingbo Bus Station.
[BLUE LINE RAIL]: Governor @jidesanwoolu stopped at the outer Marina Section of the Blue Line Rail to inspect the work being done, there is a high level of work ongoing there, a new sea wall is being built by the Ebute Ero side too.

[RED LINE]: Governor @jidesanwoolu responds to the question of Computer Village relocation, he says the market is aware that they will be relocated to Katangowa Market, Abule Egba .. he says the plan has always been there and it’s a bigger and better space for them.

The State Govt has full ownership of @LCCTollRoad. Under Governor Ambode, The State bought LCC with all its assets and liabilities. So the loans still have to be paid off by LASG through the same @LCCTollRoad.
