UPDATE: The 32-metric tons per hour Rice Mill being constructed by Lagos State Government in Imota area of Ikorodu division will start operations before end of first quarter in 2022. Governor @jidesanwoolu gave this assurance after touring the project site on Friday. @jidesanwoolu said the facility would be subjected to a pre-production test run before the end of first quarter next year, after which the full production capacity would be activated rice production.

UPDATE: Lagos State Govt sympathizes with parents & students over the accident that occurred in Ojodu, noting that 2 students were confirmed dead on the spot while the remaining 12 students, 7 Females & 5 Males are recuperating having sustained varying degrees of injuries.

The Government also confirmed that some students who had slight injuries have been discharged.

#ojodu Oreagba averred that” from the reports we received on the incidence, the driver is believed to have lost control of the vehicle, probably because of mechanical reasons. The police are investigating the matter; the public should await their report".
