FBI agents called me at State Department (where I worked) and said they had photos of me from my ex-fiance.
“We have evidence that he’s having you followed,” the agent said.
“What? Why is he following me now? We broke up a long time ago." 3/7
“We can show you the evidence we’ve gathered,” the FBI agent said by phone. “You just have to meet with us in person so we can give you the photos.”
“Am I in danger? Should I call DS?” I asked, referring to State's Diplomatic Security
“You can if you want,” said the agent. 4/7
It ended up taking weeks to meet with the FBI to find out when and where I was being followed.
They made me talk to them for hours about my ex and then refused to show me the photos. 5/7
The FBI was not lying that I was “under surveillance” — just about when it took place.
I was terrified of my ex for weeks for no reason other than I was being manipulated. 6/7
It still makes me mad the FBI thought manipulation by fear was the best way to get me to cooperate with them for their investigation.
They just had to ask me directly and I would have cooperated fully. As I did but out of terror.
"Thousands of Afghan journalists and media workers fled to the U.S. But hundreds of journalists who have worked in the media for years and are in serious danger are still at large and could be attacked at any moment."
Summary: @glennbeck charity has raised over $10 million and so far gotten thousands of people out of Afghanistan by plane, mostly from Mazar-e-Sharif. @thenazarenefund focuses on rescuing persecuted Christians.

“I used to work as Visa Assistant at the Consular Section. Due to my employment with the US Embassy, I am exposed to a lot of people as I had to interact with hundreds of visa applicants daily at the consular interviewing windows.”

“On Aug 24th, during the USG evacuation from the country, I and my wife attempted to get into the airport to be evacuated and escape from the Taliban but unfortunately the Americans did not let us in.” #AbandonedinAghanistan (3/6)
My source (a SIV) was at the Serena Hotel yesterday He said that Qatar has reps there with “a list from the U.S. State Department.” The agent told him that they are only helping U.S. passport holders. He said they won’t help legal permanent residents (LPR) in Afghanistan. 2/5
Since he is a SIV and doesn’t fall in the categories that Pres. Biden and Secretary of State Blinken are prioritizing, he did not get any help. 3/5
