The constant vegan washing of an Apartheid state is disgusting. ImageImageImage
I wrote about this for @MintPressNews (see link) and I'll explain here why it is not only disingenuous, but also false.

Veganism at its core is an ideology of radical compassion for and non-violence towards all sentient beings.

That is fundamentally incompatible with the Apartheid system the Israeli government is implementing in the region.
Furthermore, Israelis eat the 5th most meat on the planet, including by far the most poultry per capita. 🇮🇱 Image
And moreover, Palestinian Israelis are twice as likely to be vegan than their Jewish counterparts.

[Thread] FOIA’d documents show that the Pentagon worked closely with Hollywood, rewriting dozens of films and TV shows about the Afghan War to give them a more pro-war message, thus helping prolong the conflict.

E.G., in 'Lone Survivor' (2013), the Pentagon changed the central scene to delete parts where US soldiers argue that they should commit war crimes by killing Afghan kids & hiding their bodies.

This was a real event that actually happened. But it did not fit the wanted narrative.
The Pentagon often insists that they only work with film and TV companies to ensure the military is portrayed more accurately.

But internal documents prove that this is not true, and that they realize they are in the "reputation" management business.

The US military just droned a bunch of children.

This is how @DailyMail covered it. 🇦🇫🤢

"One of the most depraved front pages I’ve ever seen" - @Louis_Allday
The Daily Mail's own reporting makes clear that the U.S. killed three kids in the attack.

So they're essentially posing with the child survivors who lost their families.

And the military is being framed as a caring, compassionate force.

Unreal levels of propaganda.

35 years of Western media pretending to care about Afghan women and girls.

The pretenses change, but the solution — more military intervention — remains the same.

Over the past 30 years, CAI have worked with Contra death squads in Nicaragua, designed fake Cuban social media apps for the US gov, been involved in a coup in Haiti and redesigned the Iraqi and Afghan school systems.
It was also reported that CAI's office in Peshawar, Pakistan 🇵🇰 was being used as a front for infamous mercenary group Blackwater to stage military ops on the Afghan/Pakistan border.

Reuters has been particularly guilty of this.

Read the headline and think what it implies. Then read the highlighted passage.

Then remember that most people don't read past the title.
The Brazillian man in this story committed suicide. It was completely unrelated to the vaccine.

So why have the @nytimes reported on it at all? And why did they choose this headline?

The only 2 reasons could be irresponsible clickbait or malign fear-mongering.
