#ARMYREALTALK
it's been a while since I've done one of these and im gonna try to keep it short but I feel like I need to put to some things in perspective for some of you: 1) those who seem confused as to why BTS UN participation turned into a controversy by the media, +
2) wondering if it can truly be said that the boys are in control of what they do and that not even the govt can make them bend

3) To again make yall understand that we (BTS and ARMY) truly only have each other and are surrounded by enemies on all sides. +
4) finally some suggestions on how to cope and not lose yall minds in this tornado.

The first part of this Real talk focuses on something I've been saying for a while but that's even more relevant now because the SK elections are close.+
This whole controversy that was discussed in the thread I posted today, was started by k-media and even before these fake-ass reports were released there were already efforts to downplay and undermine the boys efforts and appearance at the UN and +

Basically move eyes away from the true importance of it and the real impact of said appearance and speech. Like the article in the korea Herald that questioned who was behind the speech that BTS gave, and basically implied that they could never have written such a speech +
Themselves which honestly was a ridiculous thing to write about! But not only did they write such ridiculousness. The media has avoided almost every opportunity to showcase the success of the boys attendance at the UN
Why? Some of you may ask? Well there are many layers to this. The media in Korea much like the media over here (although the US would die rather than admit it), is controlled by a variety of players and some of these players are very much entangled with political parties and+
Via different ways (I'll let your brain run the possibilities). During election time, the media is your image maker or breaker, because public opinion can be manipulated through these media outlets online or on TV. Now it's been years coming but the boys have been +
Smack dab in the middle of a conflict between the different powers that be running sh*t in Korea for minute now. And there has been an ongoing discourse about the boys amicable exchanges with Pres. Moon especially seeing how much these boys contribute to the SK economy+
I'm not lying when I say people be speculating for the longest time that the boys are some kind of enlisted celebrities to represent the "liberal" agenda that Pres. Moon has for SK and to make him look good (smdh). This is why lots of Armys have been adamant about+
Keeping BTS name out of politics. Because they are a constant target because of their position and their impact and weight they carry as a group.

When you put that into perspective you can understand one of the layers behind this whole UN debacle and this need to undermine +
And slander these boys. And the constant need to drag their name through mud. But another layer involves BTS and Big Hits independent standing and their stance against the system. I have a whole tea time on that +

Which leads me to my next point
2) these boys really don't answer to anyone and that's also a reason thays got so many people Furious amd wanting to destroy them.
For those of yall who don't know, the boys have been going against some major players in the sk system +
And that has been happening since their debut. And im not talking just about the big 3 here (although these companies influences weighed heavily in the Balance against them). Im talking about players like the education system is sk, criticizing the government and major +
Conglomerates. Criticizing the media. Talking about class divide, since their debut they've been super vocal, regardless of their standing and position, these boys were risking their careers at multiple turn so they could speak their truth and do what's right.+
In 2014, when park was still president they reached out a hand to the victims of the families of the sewol (and at the time they were blacklisting people left and right), and they went to visit the families. And we all know about am I wrong and spring day and not today and you +
Never walk alone. Now you may wonder what does that have to do with them being independent and not being able to be pressured into doing what they dont want? Well, first of all do you really think a group that said a big FU to a corrupt govt on national television during a time +
Of turmoil where they had just started blowing up will let themselves be controlled by their govt or whoever now that they have the power and the resources to sustain themselves independently of whatever anyone says? Also I reiterate for those of you who didn't know +
Unlike other companies and groups the govt didn't invest in BTS or Hybe, they weren't subsidized. This is all ARMY, fan power, no shady deals, in case you forgot Korea was late to the party and even now that they've made it this far they continue to be downplayed over there so+
It goes to say that they have nothing to lose or gain from anyone over there. So how the hell is anyone gonna be controlling them and telling them to do this or that? From the very beginning these boys have been in charge of what they wanted to say and do with a solid team +
Behind them. Again I write a whole thread about that feel free to check it out. So yeah+

Unless these boys commit fraud, tax evasion, murder or some crazy ass crime of the sort. I'm pretty sure they're free to do whatever they want and ain't no one can say sh*t to them. So that pissed people off too, both mantis and solo stans and haters but the Point stands+
People are jealous of that power and that autonomy and those achievements and we need to understand that the attacks are coming from everywhere because they basically made everyone their enemy because they refuse to bend or conform which leads me to pint #3) we only have +
Each other. As ARMY you're supposed to trust BTS and BTS only. There's a reason we say that, and the constant victimizing, and the constant lack of trust is not something we should be doing. The boys are transparent with us for a reason so it's sad when I see people break that+
Trust and choose to believe the lies. Like what happened with D-2 recently and what happened with the UN thing. Which leads me to the advice (part 4), stop listening to mantis and solo stans, do your own research, check your facts, we have plenty of resources and receipts+
Practice critical thinking and most importantly learn to listen to the boys and not talk over them. Find other ARMYs and learn to differentiate between BTS fans and ARMY. Yes there's a difference, not every BTS fan is army. Keep that in mind and you'll be fine. #ARMYREALTALKA end

So this is another INSANE interview that happened a few days ago. With Mr Tak Hyun min the house secretary again. This interview focuses on the really insane impact of BTS being appointed as presidential envoys, everything the media was supposed to report on but DID NOT+ Image
And yes ladies and gentlemen we got confirmation that the media did not report and did their best to destroy instead. With host Kim Ou Joon who's interviewed Mr Kim Young Dae before for those of you who dont remember. I'm gonna try to translate as much as I can +
But expect lost of paraphrasing and summarizing like the other thread. Here's the video the BTS comvo starts at 49:30 mark. +

Yall this is ugly business... a whole lot was said in the video and the conversation about the boys start at 35:17 and it's about the new insane articles talking about the boys not getting paid for their diplomatic duty. The guest is the blue house's protocol secretary+
Yall would've seen it on the TL. She starts by saying "this is about the reports that came out yesterday saying that BTS wasn't paid by the blue house for their appearances and those reports caused "outrage" saying things like the boys are victims of "passion pay" but there was+
News also that there was a contract written for their appearances but that the boys were basically made to go to extra events that weren't on the contract. There's so much back and forth going on that we thought it would be best to get the answers directly from the house+

Imma address this now and be done with it. Let me tell yall a story about a group of boys who were raised in a homogeneous society, were barely taught anything about black culture aside from music and idolized a hip hop culture without truly understanding some of its aspects +
They were one day jamming to a song (a rap song) which had the n word in it a lot of times like multiple times and these boys who at the time were ignorant of the context and breadth of this word just sang along to the lyrics of this song not understanding that they should not+
Have. And they were on camera just jamming to the song. Well as expected people called them out, some more aggressively and harshly then others and people explained to them the connotations of the word and from then on these boys went on. Did their research and have learned and +

See if I start talking about the amount of misogynistic and delusional lyrics in the kpop world written by others and the kind of mess that these people be generally without receiving backlash or Apologizing we'd be here all day but they wanna go after someone+
Who's entire career has been about improving himself and those around him and who's always double checking himself making sure to not hurt others and is always trying to support and promote equality and progress and self development with everything he does and writes because +
He dared to actually take responsibility and own up to his mistakes? Isn't that what we want people to do? Learn and grow? Others given the opportunity don't even try but you wanna sh*t on someone who's making and effort and doing it correctly? I don't get it! Do people get+

For baby army or those who don't understand why we are so adamant about fansite pictures or fansite in general let me explain the logic to you. These fansites are dangerous for multiple reasons.
# 1) they jeopardize the boys safety! (BTS are beautiful souls but that doesn't +
Mean there arent people out there who mean them harm, sassengs are not mythical creatures, they are real people who get a fixation and that fixation can turn dangerous and even deadly sometimes. People are fickle in nature and these sites are quite adept at revealing+
Information they have no business revealing and that in itself is dangerous! Some of these websites goes to great length to obtain these pictures. I will leave it at that for now but think about the amount of death threats that these boys received that we know and do the math) +

#ARMYREALTEA today i am starting my segment on ARMY real tea. A derivation of #ARMYREALTALK because I feel like this is needed lately due to increased activity from idiots on the internet who enjoy trivializing ARMY concerns and BTS achievements but also for people+
Who seem not know what's really going on (clueless BTS fans, Baby ARMY, and outliers). On episode 1 of #ARMYREALTEA I will be addressing something that people may have heard of, witnessed but decided to ignore because its BTS, or because they don't really get the dynamics going +
On or because they think us fans are exaggerating and reading into everything and trying to victimize BTS for a variety of reasons. I wanna start by saying this, today. The entertainment industry in any country is not to be romanticized like people do. For people seem to +
