Here's the summary thread for My Hero Academia School Briefs "Cherry Blossoms" Part 3, "The Camping Festival on the Snowy Mountain in Spring"

The chapter focuses on Deku, Bakugou, Todoroki, Kaminari, Kirishima, Iida, & Sero camping together.

The chapter starts off with the boys admiring the view of the mountain. They ended up camping together because Kaminari was bored at the dorm and wanted to do something fun for spring break. #MHALN6

Aizawa suggests that they go camping as there's a great snowy mountain that's usually reserved for training that has forests, a lake full of fish, etc. He says that staying there for one night might be a good thing to refresh the body and mind. #MHALN6

The U.A. faculty did say that during Spring Break, the students should do something to have a breath of fresh air, so that's how the 7 guys ended up camping together. #MHALN6

When they get to the snowy mountain, Kaminari dives into the snow and says "hey guys, let's do a snowball fight!" and plays in the snow. However, Bakugou looks at hiim sharply and says "don't underestimate a snow mountain." #MHALN6

Bakugou says that this isn't just a walk in the park, this camp is a real test of survival due to the harsh conditions. There's no time for fun and games here." Kaminari says that they're only here for a night though. #MHALN6

They recall Aizawa saying that once they get to the mountain, there's no turning back as after they pass the entrance, it will be shut off completely until 24 hours has passed. Their cellphones will not work either, and they have to figure out how to survive the night. #MHALN6

Bakugou says that they have to figure out how to stay warm as they will die if they fall asleep in this cold. Bakugou tells Kaminari if he wants to die, then he can go die alone. #MHALN6

Deku keeps a watchful eye as he tells everyone that since Bakugou's hobby is mountain climbing, he does know the true harshness of snow mountains. Iida then asks Bakugou to give them advice on what to do. #MHALN6

Bakugou is surprised Iida is asking him for advice, but Iida says since Bakugou has experience in this, he should lead them on what they need to do to survive. Bakugou scoffs and says "fine, then listen up, and if anyone complains, you're gonna be buried in the snow." #MHALN6

Kaminari says he gets it, okay! Deku looks at Bakugou and squints his eyes. Todoroki notices Deku doing this and asks him what's wrong. Deku says it's nothing, maybe he's just imagining it. He doesn't explain what though. #MHALN6

Bakugou says they have to divide tasks into 3 groups: building tents, hunting food, and gathering firewood. Since Bakugou and Kirishima have experience making tents, they are in charge of tent building. Deku, Kaminari, and Sero go fishing. Iida and Todoroki gather wood. #MHALN6

Bakugou tells the other two groups to go and get the necessary stuff. Kirishima says "good luck, guys!" as he turns back to Bakugou and asks "Well, what do ya want me to do then? Just say the word!" as he puts his fists together and looks ready to take on any challenge. #MHALN6

Bakugou surveys their surroundings and finds a circular clearing where they could set up everyone's tents. He tells Kirishima to set up there, and as Kirishima opens the tents, Bakugou stops him. He says they first need to make sure the snow is hard enough. #MHALN6

Kirishima says "got it!" and puts on his gloves and hardens his fists as he pounds the snow to harden it. After making sure the ground is solid enough, Bakugou takes out everyone's singular tents and sticks pegs to hold them down. #MHALN6

In the forest, Iida and Todoroki stop to observe their surroundings and find themselves in a great forest. Todoroki says "wow." They're here to gather the firewood and start looking for stones. As they search for the materials, Todoroki asks Iida why he came to camp. #MHALN6

Todoroki remarks that he didn't expect Iida to come, and Iida asks why he thought that. Todoroki says during their internship, since Iida didn't have time to study, he thought that he would make up that time during Spring Break instead of going out. #MHALN6

Iida says he did think about that, but he thought he might learn something from this snow mountain experience, but his number one reason for coming on the trip was because Deku and Todoroki were going to go. It's not every day you get to go camping with friends. 🥺 #MHALN6

Iida answers a bit bashfully, and Todoroki agrees. Iida then says they should enjoy this opportunity to the fullest! As they look around for materials, they suddenly stop and ask, "What's...this...?" #MHALN6

Deku, Kaminari, and Sero arrive at a frozen lake and could see fish swimming beneath the ice. Kaminari says "Woah! It's real fish! There's so many of them!" and Deku says that this would surely be enough to feed everyone. #MHALN6

There's only one problem though- Kaminari slept in and forgot to bring the fishing poles with them to the trip. Sero suggests they make a fishing pole out of some sticks. Deku says they can use Sero's tape as the fishing line. #MHALN6

Another issue though is they don't have a hook. They then decide to make a net instead to gather the fish in. Sero makes the net, Deku and Sero throw the net, and Kaminari sticks a finger into the water to zap all the fish. They then haul in all the fish. #MHALN6

As they get ready to head back, they see Bakugou and Kirishima walking towards them. Kirishima says "woah, what a big catch!" as he sees Deku carrying all the fish. Deku seems surprised and says "you've finished building the tents?" #MHALN6

Kirishima says Bakugou's skills came in really handy, so they thought to come help the others, although Deku's team got everything done already too. Kirishima says the fish they caught were pretty gigantic. #MHALN6

As they go cloer to the net, a really big fish jumps out and hits Bakugou's back, causing him to fall into the lake. Kirishima and the others worriedly say "Bakugou!" "Are you all right?" Bakugou resurfaces, and Deku holds out a hand towards him. #MHALN6

Bakugou is startled and recalls the time when they were children and Deku reached out a hand after he fell from the bridge. Bakugou reacts in reflex as he recalls the start of the bitter memories that ate away at him. He says "shut up" #MHALN6

Even so, he doesn't give into his emotions, which he knows means that he has grown up. Even so, he still shows his refusal through his sharp tone. Deku notices and hesitates and says, "but!" However, Bakugou ignores him and gets out of the lake by himself. #MHALN6

As he walks away, Deku determindely reaches for Bakugou's forehead and Bakugou asks "what the hell are you doing?" as he swats away his hand. Deku says, "Kacchan, you have a fever." #MHALN6

Kirishima and the others say "no way" as they see a worried Deku who says "now that I think of it, you did mention that you had a headache during your internship yesterday. Are you okay? Do you need medicine?" #MHALN6

Kirishima frets and says "If you weren't feeling well, then you should've told us sooner! What should we do? Maybe we can go tell Aizawa-sensei and--!" Sero turns to Kirishima and answers sternly "it's impossible. We're locked here until tomorrow and our phones are dead." #MHALN6

Kaminari then says they just gotta spend a night here, but Bakugou should probably change clothes otherwise his fever will get worse. Everyone's worrying over Bakugou, and Bakugou's eyes start to feel heavy. #MHALN6

Bakugou tells them all to shut up and stop worrying, but Sero says they need to get him into bed as soon as possible. Sero then uses his tape to restrain Bakugou. Kirishima says "leave it to me" as he hurriedly carries Bakugou over his shoulder. #MHALN6

Kirishima says "Just wait a bit longer, Bakugou! We'll get you back to the tent in no time!" Bakugou yells "let me down!!"

When they get back to the camp, they made him change into his pajamas and put him to bed. Iida and Todoroki also came back from gathering firewood. #MHALN6

They prepare the fire and tell Bakugou "Bakugou, don't overdo it- just sleep!"
"if you need to go to the bathroom, just let us know!"
"do you think you can eat grilled fish?"
"Bakugou-kun, I'm sorry for asking you to be the leader even though you were feeling bad!" #MHALN6

Bakugou yells at them for worrying too much, making him feel ever hotter because he's mad lol. One by one they say sorry and leave the tent. Deku is the last to leave as he says very worriedly says, "Kacchan, if something happens, just be sure to let us know." #MHALN6

Bakugou says "Shut up, don't talk to me" as he closes his eyes as if he doesn't want to see anyone. Outside of the tent, the guys gather around a campfire and note how Deku noticed that something was wrong with Bakugou in the beginning. #MHALN6

Bakugou can hear them talking outside. He knew something was wrong with him earlier, but he didn't want to tell anyone because he didn't want to show any weakness. #MHALN6

Man, this story is getting really intense, but unfortunately I need to sleep myself lol. I will continue translating later today as it's very late (actually very early aka 5:30am lol) in Japan right now. Follow this space for updates on the light novel later today!

Continuing where I left off, Bakugou was internally thinking about how he didn't want to tell anyone about his condition as it showed weakness. When Deku reached out his hand to him when they were children, it made him realize his own weaknesses. #MHALN6

Deku was trying to show strength or weakness, he just reached out to him since he was simply worried. Like in the past and the present. Deku has a presence that Bakugou doesn't understand, which frustrates him. Feeling that his fever is getting higher, he tries to sleep. #MHALN6

Back outside, the other boys start grilling the fish over the campfire. They enjoy the fish and remark that Todoroki's quirk is so useful in situations like these. He could use his fire and ice to do many things that will ensure his survival if he went camping alone too. #MHALN6

Deku tells Todoroki that his quirk is powerful and amazing and Todoroki murmurs, "really?" and adds "but if we go camping, I rather go with everyone else than alone." Sero then says, "Aww, Todorokiiii~ look at ya, saying all these cute things!" #MHALN6

Kaminari then says since they're all here, they should do "that" while camping. Kirishima asks "what do you mean by do 'that'?" and Kaminari answers "you know, like the old school camping trips, doin' stuff you wouldn't do normally because it's embarrassing!" #MHALN6

The stars are out above them, and Kaminari suggests they talk about their dreams. He says his dream is to be a super cool hero! Kirishima says he wants to be a hero overflowing with manliness. Everyone's dreams are also to become a great hero. #MHALN6

After they sit back and reflect, Iida suddenly remembers that earlier today, he and Todoroki saw large footprints of some kind of animal while they were out gathering firewood. He forgot to tell them after they were swept up with Bakugou's situation. #MHALN6

The footprints looked like they belonged to some fearsome beast. There were also scratch marks on the trees too, and they also found some type of fur that looked to be from the beast. The fur was extremely long too. #MHALN6

Large animals hibernate in the winter tho. Todoroki then says "is it a polar bear?" but Sero says "Todoroki, polar bears live in the North Pole..." lol. Sero looks pensive as he recalls that on the way here, he ran into Nejire who told him about a rumor about this place. #MHALN6

According to Nejire, somewhere in this establishment, there's a place that acts as a magnetic field that causes the land to go awry. The sky above is also distorted, and it's rumored that it connects to another dimension. #MHALN6

Kirishima calmly remarks, "heh, seems like Tokoyami would totally eat up this rumor." The boys then wonder if the fur they found belonged to a monster that came from this other dimensions. They think that's impossible though. #MHALN6

Iida says they should probably report this strange magnetic field to Aizawa, but before that they should probably see for themselves if this place even exists. Iida mentions that they should set out to look for this place first thing tomorrow morning, and Kaminari agrees. #MHALN6

Kirishima then says "I hope Bakugou will also feel better by tomorrow...Heyyy, Bakugou! Do you want any fish?" Kirishima was about to peek into Bakugou's tent to check up on him, but as he did, a strong gale started to blow. #MHALN6

Even though the skies were clear and the stars were out a moment ago, it suddenly starts snowing. The boys exclaim that this weather is crazy. Todoroki then uses his ice to put out the fire. He asks, "Kirishima, how is Bakugou doing?" Kirishima says, "he's sleeping!" #MHALN6

Iida says he will check up on Bakugou tomorrow, but for now everyone should go to their tents to sleep and wait out the storm. Everyone retires to their tents, and the storm outside is relentless. Deku fell asleep but woke up when he heard someone calling for him. #MHALN6

He opens up his tent and sees Iida there looking in a panic. Iida says that just now Sero said he was going to go to the bathroom, but he hasn't come back yet. Iida says that they should probably look for him and will go alone to do so. Deku says he will come with. #MHALN6

Iida says it's okay though, he will go there alone to look for Serol. He says he'll let them know when they're comoing back. Deku worriedly watches him leave. About 5 minutes pass when Deku decides he should probably check up on Iida too. #MHALN6

As he leaves the tent, he hears someone screaming from a distance. It's Iida. Deku then panics and runs out of his tent. Kaminari, Todoroki, and Kirishima also peep out of their tents as they heard someone screaming. Deku explains what happened with Sero and Iida. #MHALN6

Deku says he will go search for them, and Todoroki says he will go too. Kirishima says he will accompany them but asks Kaminari to watch over Bakugou while they're away. Kaminari agrees and stays at the campsite. #MHALN6

They head out to look for them and yell their names while searching. Their cries are met with dead silence. Deku trips over something, and Todoroki asks if he's okay. He pulls the thing from the ground and finds it's part of Iida's winter clothes, but completely tattered. #MHALN6

The group wonders what exactly happened. Kirishima then finds giant footprints in the snow. They wonder if it belongs to that monster Iida was talking about. Deku says they need to go find them asap. Kirishima says they first need to tell Kaminari and Bakugou this though. #MHALN6

As Kirishima says that, they hear Kaminari scream from the campsite. Deku adn the others panic and try to rush back, but Deku's foot gets stuck and he trips. Todoroki asks, "Midoriya?" and Deku says he's fine, they need to hurry. #MHALN6

They head back to the campsite and find all their tents were ripped to shreds. Kaminari is nowhere in sight. Deku goes to Bakugou's tent and finds him there. Bakugou was getting ready and putting on his winter jacket, and Deku asks, "Kacchan, what happened to Kaminari?" #MHALN6

Bakugou says just now they heard a noise outside of the tent, and Kaminari went out to check on it. When he got outside, he screamed. Bakugou tried to check on him, but he was already gone. Deku says, "No way..." #MHALN6

Todoroki and Kirishima arrive too, and Bakugou asks what's going on? They explain the situation to him. Todoroki says the monster probably went back to the forest and they should go search for their classmates. Bakugou moves as if to go as well, but Deku stops him. #MHALN6

Deku says he should stay here and sleep since he's still not recovered. Bakugou yells at him to stop worrying about him, and Deku says of course he's worried as it's an obvious thing if someone is feeling bad that others worry about them. #MHALN6

Bakugou gets irritated and tells Deku to stop worrying. He grabs him while he takes off his gloves with his teeth and prepares to shoot an explosion. Deku grabs his hand, and Bakugou suddenly pauses as his eyes widen. Deku's hand feels hotter than his. Deku asks "Kacchan?"#MHALN6

With a grimace on his face, he scoffs as he puts a hand on Deku's forehead and says, "You bastard, you're running hot too." Deku can't believe that he also has a fever. He touches his forehead and starts muttering about how he also felt a bit strange. #MHALN6

They then hear someone yell from outside. Deku says, "Was that Kirishima-kun? Kacchan, stay here!" Deku flies out of the tent using his full cowl, and Bakugou watches his retreating back, feeling very irritated. #MHALN6

As he watches Deku go ahead of him, he thinks about how Deku always gives his all to help others, but that's not the thing that bothers him the most. Bakugou scoffs again as he prepares his explosion to catch up to Deku. As he does, they both hear a monster roar. #MHALN6

Bakugou sees the monster and pauses. It's a huge white furred giant, akin to that of a fearsome Yeti with sharp nails. Deku looks up at the Yeti but notices that Bakugou is here too. He asks "Kacchan, why are you here?" but Bakugou says, "Shut up!" #MHALN6

Todoroki and Kirishima come up to them and warn them that this giant Yeti is extremely strong. Todoroki and Kirishima jump at the yeti to fight it, but the Yeti. It turns its attention to Todoroki, and Kirishima sees this change to land a hit. #MHALN6

Kirishima readies his hardened fist and tries to punch the Yeti. The Yeti noticed him though and pummels Kirishima with his arm, sending him flying. Bakugou yells, "Kirishimaa!" and uses his explosion to propel himself forward to use a stun grenade move on the Yeti. #MHALN6

The Yeti is blinded by the stun grenade but swats Bakugou away. Bakugou lands on the snow, and Deku yells, "Kacchan!" as he tries to use a Smash move on the Yeti, but it's not effective at all. Todoroki then creates a wall of ice towards the Yeti. #MHALN6

Deku thinks of a plan as he mutters to himself and realizes they need to encase the Yeti into a wall of ice. The Yeti breaks through the wall of ice and heads to Deku. Todoroki then steps in to protect him and shouts, "Midoriya!" as he uses his fire to hit the Yeti. #MHALN6

Todoroki is unable to stop the Yeti though, and Deku yells "Todoroki-kun!" as he tries to go and help him by attempting to punch the Yeti in the face. Bakugou watches as Deku, even with a fever, tries to draw the Yeti to the lake to drown the Yeti. #MHALN6

Bakugou reflects back on how Deku would go out of his way to help someone even when he didn't have a quirk. He thinks about the time when Deku reached out his hand when they were children. #MHALN6

Bakugou was scared to admit that the person who should've been the furthest away from his own goals was actually catching up to him. What irritated him the most was the fact that he might actually lose to Deku, and his anger was actually directed at himself. #MHALN6

Bakugou thinks about how it would be much easier to just accept him for who he is, but doing so frustrates him. Even so, whether he accepts him or not, Deku's stance remains unwavering, no matter what the situation. As he ponders this, he makes his way to the Yeti. #MHALN6

Deku is fighting the Yeti, and Bakugou sees his back. He yells, "Deku!!" and Deku asks "Kacchan!? Why are you here?" Bakugou says he saw through Deku's plan and then proceeds to fight the Yeti as well. The Yeti grabs Bakugou as he tries to send an explosion its way. #MHALN6

Deku yells, "Kacchan!" and tries to kick the Yeti's arm. This causes the Yeti to lose its balance, and both Deku and BAkugou prepare their attacks at the same time, saying "SMASH!" and "HOWITZER IMPACT!" causing the Yeti to fall into the lake. #MHALN6

With the Yeti defeated, Deku says they need to go find the others. Just then, the sky opens up to reveal a cieling as a voice calls out "the points go to Midoriya and Bakugou. Good work." #MHALN6

Deku asks, "Aizawa-sensei...?" The voice they heard coming from the speaker at the top of the ceiling was definitely Aizawa's voice. Bakugou asks, "points...?" He has a bad feeling about this. #MHALN6

Aizawa asks them if they really thought they'd cut the students some slack on Spring Break, and this was actually a special lesson for the seven of them. The Yeti was a robot, and the magnetic field rumor was actually something Aizawa asked Nejire to tell Sero about lol. #MHALN6

They regroup with the others who told them that they weren't strong enough to defeat the Yeti. Sero says how was he supposed to do anything when he got jumped right after going to the bathroom lol. #MHALN6

Aizawa tells everyone to go rest but instructs Deku and Bakugou to go to the infirmary. He scolds them and says if they're not feeling well, they should tell him upfront instead of keep it to themselves. They hang their heads as they head to the exit. #MHALN6

Deku and Bakugou walk in silence when Deku says, "That Yeti was pretty strong..." and Bakugou says "piece of cake." Deku then goes on a rant thinking about what would have happened if a lake wasn't there. #MHALN6

As they walk, Deku's foot gets stuck in the snow and he's about to trip when Bakugou reaches an arm out to him. Deku says, "Huh? Oh, thanks Kacchan!" Bakugou glowers at him and then lets go of his arm and kicks him in the back instead. #MHALN6

Deku exclaims, "hey, what was that for!?" and Bakugou says, "shut the hell up and keep walkin'!" With the real stars shining out in the night sky, Deku tries to catch up with Bakugou as he walks away and says "wait up, Kacchan!"
