Hearing from another source that this entire agreement (@HeikoMaas celebrated himself for) is indeed a receipt for disaster for 🇺🇦.
It is based on the principle “ship-or-pay”, meaning Gazprom can fulfill the contract by only PAYING for the gas, but not SHIPPING it through 🇺🇦.

So 🇩🇪 celebrated a contract between Gazprom and Naftogaz that allowed Gazprom to destroy the Ukrainian grid by lowering the gas transit / pressure to 1 bcm per day WITHOUT BREACHING THE CONTRACT AND TRIGGERING ANY SANCTIONS.
