6 Things that I’ve learned as a startup founder from the 6 games in the recent Netflix hit
Squid Game 🦑 !

Here we go 👇🏻

#squidgame #startup #founder
#1 Green Light; Red Light ✅❌:

First mover advantage -
You get to the finish line faster without much competition

First mover disadvantage -
Competitors will be learning from your mistakes and play better.
#2 Honeycomb 🍯 Cookie Game

Any decisions/plans/strategy you make early on in your startup matters.

However, nobody knows if it works or not.

Be patient in execution.

Learn from others during the process. (Lick the cookie 😂)

Fight until the very last second.
#3 Tug Of War 💥

Though brute force helps (money), it’s not everything.

A diverse and well balanced team can still win even when the odds are stacked against them!

Experience & intelligence mixed with risk taking under a strong leadership is powerful.
#4 Marbles (saddest game 😞 )

Trust is a very expensive commodity.

Find your Ganbu.
(Co-founder/partner)
Cherish them, treat them well.
Be honest.

Ps: the rest of this game was just messed up and sad…
#5 Glass Bridge 🌉

Have a mentor, they can take you further but not the whole journey.

You’ll have to finish the rest.

Also, similar with the #1 game, going first won’t guarantee success.

In this game, you’re pretty much screwed going first.
#6 Squid Game 🦑

The finale.

Startups are brutal.

The sacrifice you make is enormous.

Relationships strained.

But life has to go on.

When you’ve won,
don’t forget who helped you along the way. 👍
